Summary: A meeting to put together the pieces all of the characters got during 1369
Warnings: Mention and discussion some of the contents of the visions from 1369, which include disturbing and even gruesome content.

[The problem with having an impatient twelve year-old set up a meeting is that there isn't nearly as much in the way of amenities. Unless someone is able to make or bring any snacks, there's nothing of the sort available, nor any sort of decoration or notice hanging anywhere. All that can be found is the aforementioned twelve year-old standing near the stairs with her arms crossed.

She'll quite cheerfully tell anybody who wanders onto the floor (whether on purpose or accident) what's going on. Even those who missed her network post will be able to find out easily what's happening on this particular floor today.

And after that... well, then the discussion can begin.]

From what friends who weren't trapped told me, when we were in the rooms, we were exposed to a small amount. But below our levels, in unused portions of the tower...that was where it was strongest. But it didn't seem able to inflict harm on us then, only disorient us. So perhaps it was weaker than below our levels but stronger than it was in the locked rooms?

Makes sense. Then everything we saw was Ruana's memories again. Even the machine and even Zo.

[He scratches his head.]

But didn't Ruana make Zo? Like, only a short while ago?

*Honestly, he's mostly forgotten about the point of Zo's age(or the age he claims to be) in all this...*

There were network posts from a while back. That same message that talked about Ruana taking energy from the dead worlds. It said that Ruana made all the other administrators. And I think Jason said Zo was the youngest, but a lot younger than anyone else.

It never said that.

*He takes the copy he always carries around for newcomers (but never gets around to using) from his pocket and hands it to Lancer to review.* It's a possibility that's what Dax was talking about, but...for all we know, he's talking about the experiments they were doing here.

Then, if Ruana didn't make them, where did they come from? Were they kids who Ruana spared when she killed all the scientists, then?

It's what I thought. The more I think of it, though...the more it is clear they are some sort of creation, whether by Ruana's hand or indirectly through some other means. Especially if the children and their captors before were all ordinary humans...

[He scratches his head.]

So no matter what, Zo is based off Ruana's friend? The kid from the carnival?

If he isn't the same child somehow.

*He sighs tiredly.* Honestly, I don't know what to think about them anymore.

Maybe we'll find out with another vision...one that hopefully won't kill us.

...So...uh...back to why everything blew up?

I didn't even realize there had been explosions this time until I heard it here. When did they happen?

*And why was there no other damage this time...?*

I heard them sometime one night. Didn't seem that bad from where I was, though.

[A slight pop, and then some shaking. And that had been on the aquarium floor. Enough to warn that something might have happened on the lower floor, though.]

Then again, it probably was if you could feel it on the tenth floor. I went up after feeling it, though. Didn't want any more floors to blow up right under me.

I wonder why the carnival only looks aged rather than destroyed, if there were explosions.

I don't know? Maybe it has something to do with psychoradiation? Or glamour?

It is possible that any debris was glamoured over...but that just brings us back to the person responsible knowing how to manipulate the glamour...

*Augh. At least that narrows things down by a lot. But it just raises more questions.*

So who, if not the administrators...?

[He's starting to get a headache thinking.

It couldn't be Riki, I doubt it was Jason, Zo wouldn't sabotage his own work...it only leaves Ruana. Nothing out of the ordinary for her happened in her month, either...

She didn't fuck up the other administrators' months before. Why's she even starting now? You'd think she'd keep the explosions to her games or something.

I don't know... But it did start after we'd caused the most trouble we ever have in a single month. ...Aside from the power source issue. It may not be her, in the end. But whatever it was, surely it must have been in reaction to us.
