[Suzaku raised his hand] Do we have a specific goal at all, or is it just observation for now? [Not that he doubts you Richtofen... but he tends to like to have clear mission objectives before sliding down intestine ropes.]

[Ah, yes. This question. Richtofen has been anticipating it. He flashes Suzaku a smile.]

We do. While our equipment has been sufficient in separating the compounds that make up the collar fluid - and we have made great strides with that, rest assured - it is still not enough. We must find tools to swap out our own fluid with the new fluid we shall make, the kind that lacks power suppressant.

Now, the ones that they use to cycle fluid in und out during our collar checks would be sufficient, but I am certain they are keeping all of that under much tighter wraps now. The entire reason we have this fluid in the first place is because those rooms were left unattended, after all.

So! I figure we must go to the source of all that equipment. Attempting to break into the rooms in the infirmary or go down the main elevator shaft would likely be an anticipated move, but this? Not so much.

[He pauses, looks from one face in the room to the other. Once he's made eye contact with as many people as he can, he speaks up again. The grin on his face is almost cheeky.]

...Besides. You all must be at least a little bit curious about what is down there, right?

[Suzaku nodded, the aim seemed simple and practical enough. And he had to admit he was curious, each time he had gone down to the lower levels he had discovered something new. And there was no doubt that there were still a lot of things left to find out about this tower.

And it beat thinking about his dead world, or Lelouch or Sephiroth or... well anything.]
