There's some that wear thick armor or have really hard hides. If you can't hit the right place, you might break your sword.

I didn't know swords worked like that.. [ What good is a weapon if you can't just bash it right into anything and have it work, right. ]

Swords don't seem as cool as my chainsaw now.

I know what you mean. Not as cool as my Gae Bolg either. Blame the administrators for building everything out of foam.

My original home was Ireland. I guess...it would be a little exotic to Japanese people?

Kinda the opposite for me. Some Japanese things you guys have seems exotic to me.

Oh, like, your doors. I've seen houses with doors made of paper that...slide.

Oh, those.. I don't think a lot of houses have those anymore though. Not the newer ones. [ Although there's plenty of older houses that still have them. ] I had a normal door in my room. And in the rest of our house we had western doors too.

Yeah, I mostly lived in a house with those Western doors, so it was a big shock when I ran into a house with those sliding doors. How do you even use them without breaking them?

By not walking through them.
