Format: Party style, whichever format you prefer
Summary: When two busybodies start plotting, all hell breaks loose. "Waver's Anniversary" (or more informally known as Waver and Diarmuid's wedding party.) It's just a party. Nothing to see here. That cake is white just by... accident... and decorated to match the rings... yeeeeeeep... complete accident.
Warnings: Someone may decide to drown a couple people... who knows.

[In case someone is observant enough to notice, Waver and Diarmuid have been wearing matching rings... and under the disguise of a convenient excuse, that being Waver's one year anniversary in the Tower, Lancer and Reno have thrown a party to celebrate.

Keeping the relationship a perfect secret, of course. It's just a party. Good times, shooting the breeze, card games. Unfortunately, there's no booze. The lounge has been set up with a buffet with food from the Floor Sixty Kitchen, and there's a cake.

The cake happens to be white, and decorated. And that celtic knot decoration may just be matching the rings. Complete accident, of course.]

Um...well, what about the kids? How're they all doing?

I think they are doing as well as can be expected considering everything that has been going on.

[Diarmuid takes another bite of cake and then smiles.]

I met a very sweet young boy while we were all off in the void. His name is Taiki. Have you ever met him? He kind of reminds me of Yotsuba. So kind and pure and somehow still able to survive in this terrible place...

Yeah, I think I saw him once. Back when we were all sharing information with each other at Reno's party. Are you thinking of adopting him too?

I suppose I already have as long as he will allow it.

[Diarmuid's expression becomes a bit more downcast as he remembers how upset Taiki had been when he found him in the graveyard after Jason's death.]

Recent events...have been very hard on him. He is a creature of peace and...there is very little peace here now.

..Ah. Poor kid. Maybe you should've brought him here. So he could get a chance to relax.

I don't know... Most of us understand why Waver is acting as he is and don't hold it against him. I'm not so sure how Taiki would react to that, though...

[He grows thoughtful for a moment.]

But, maybe I will take him a piece of cake afterward. I am sure he will like that and with there only being two levels of occupied rooms it won't be too hard for me to find his.

...And you gotta admit, it was pretty nice for Zo to switch up all our rooms. Makes visiting each other much easier.

Waver is, fortunately, with people I know and trust for the most part. Hopefully, I will get to meet the one I do not know soon. Suzaku...was not so lucky. He now rooms with Sephiroth...

I told him if he ever needs to sleep, to feel free to stop by our room and used my bed. I hope he takes me up on that offer. It's not the same as sleeping in his own bed, but...

Sounds like as good of an idea as any. Though, you're sure Mac An Chuill won't bite him if he comes sleep in our room, right?

[A worried look suddenly crosses his face.]

What about your horse? Will he become horse kibble?

If you get a chance, can you try to meet up with him and introduce the two? I really don't want him to use any excuse not to use the room...

[Diarmuid sighs.]

...but he will use that as an excuse. I know my brother...

Yeah, I'll make sure to introduce the two of them. Though I can't guarantee she won't try to bite him.

[Diarmuid takes a deep breath, for a moment wondering if it is his place to tell, but of all the people in the Tower, no one else is going to understand how terrible a geis is better than Cu Chulainn.]

His geass is to live. He cannot die. In any way. Ever.

...That really is a terrible geass.

[A geass to live might seem like something good. But by now Cu Chulainn knows that living in shame is worse than dying honorably.]

Is he immortal, then?

For the most part. I have seen it pull him out of danger, even when it should not be able to and there are even some floors it will not allow him to go onto. It's really a terrible thing when it comes down to it.

[Diarmuid shakes his head.]

Though, I am sure this place has found ways around it. It always finds a way to kill. Always...
