[When Lancer realizes he's been thrown into a cell, his first instinct is to kick at the barrier. The resulting zap leaves him sprawled on the ground. Realizing that physical force isn't the solution, he crawls up, making sure not to put too much weight on his still hurting leg.]

Hey, who else is stuck here?

It has quite the kick, doesn't it?

[Diarmuid's slightly amused voice comes from somewhere nearby.]

I'm glad you're here, brother. Not everyone is.

[puppy_lancer]

I'm glad too, Bro.

[He peers at the other cells the best he can.]

Where's Asagi?

I haven't heard her yet. I hope she isn't one of the ones not here...

[Of his family, how many aren't here? He hasn't heard from Reno--in fact, Xion seems pretty convinced he isn't there. He hasn't heard from Suzaku or Ryoji yet either, come to think of it.

He really hopes they are okay...]

How are you feeling? Are you injured at all besides that shock?

...Where would she be, if she's not here?

[He feels an ominous, sinking feeling in his stomach.]

Nah, I'm fine. Nothing's bleeding or broke, last I checked.

That's good to hear.

[Diarmuid presses his hand against the cell door, frowning in frustration.]

I don't know where they are. I just know we need to find some way out of here so we can find them. I don't like the idea of some of us possibly being alone with Ruana right now...

[Because who knows what she is up to at the moment. Is she torturing them small group by small group or what?]

[puppy_lancer]

Me neither.

[He raises a hand and touches the barrier again. It doesn't shock him yet.]

I know we can't just punch our way out. Does anyone have a weapon that can take down this barrier?

Not that I know of yet. Apparently, hitting it with a weapon causes the same reaction that hitting it with a body part does...

[That reaction being the shock.]

Sadly, that applies to both film and real weapons, so no help there.

Shit. Then what about magic?

It seems like none of us have any of our abilities. Not even those of us with real powers.

[Diarmuid shakes his head.]

And hitting them with magical weapons causes the same shock as hitting them with anything else does.

[puppy_lancer]

Fuck.

[He punches the wall next to him in sheer frustration...and then gets floored by another shock.]

Whoa! Brother, easy! Getting yourself hurt isn't going to change things.

[Diarmuid starts to examine his cell wall again.]

We have to keep calm and focus on finding a way out.

[puppy_lancer]

[He groans and drags himself up, sitting and leaning against a wall.]

Tell me if you've got any good ideas.

Still working on that part, unfortunately.

[Diarmuid sighs and leans against the wall he was examining.]

I have been over my cell so many times and nothing. Maybe if you look over yours you will see something?

[puppy_lancer]

[Since he can't stand, he has to crawl on his hands and knees while exploring his cell.]

I can't see anything except walls.

[Diarmuid's expression grows concerned when he realizes his brother is still too weak from the shock to stand.]

Then just rest for now and get your strength back. We are going to have to be ready to move as soon as someone figures something out.

[puppy_lancer]

[He sighs.]

Guess that's all I can do right.

[He closes his eyes.]

You should get some rest too, brother.

[Diarmuid gives him a gentle smile.]
