[It's more of a
scientific curiosity- Sephiroth very nearly pulls a face over that thought, he's done more than enough self-analyzing in the recent weeks. Doing so now is only going to drive himfurtherinsane.]Just curious. Quick ends are so final. I'm sure she wants us to suffer for what has happened, first.

But I only know what it is like to be "dying" outside of the Tower. How Ruana plays a part in the end of the Tower is a mystery.

[He still debated whether that was an unfortunate or fortunate happening. After staring at the cell for a long moment, he decides he might as well take a seat on the floor again.]
Blackness. Like the world no longer sees sun or stars for one reason or another. The Tower was the only thing emitting light out there.

Sephiroth watches Gilgamesh sit back down, they are now more at eye-level. He pulls arms up into being folded over his chest in the meantime.]
Like a beacon on an otherwise dead World. [He muses, trying to encourage Gilgamesh to continue.]

The city at the base of the Tower was lifeless, of course. But it at least provided scenery, with the light that much closer.
