[There is a pause as Lancelot waits for an answer to reveal itself. When he finally speaks, there is a low tone of wry amusement in the Words.]
In truth-- I do not know. It is possible that the Time for Insights to Serve us has Past, and that now we must only Act and React. So, Defense it is, and the Prayer that some misstep may tip the Scales in our Favor.

Would you call that enough to build Faith upon, Sephiroth. I confess I have built upon less.

I'm not one to believe in happy accidents.

[Somewhat contrarily, Sephiroth is more than deadly serious. He never did connect well with even distorted amusement; to laugh, in any way at their circumstances would be the first step towards acceptance of them. At least that's the way he saw it.]

I am, however, prepared to still be patient and lie in wait for that opportunity which must inevitably present itself.
