When everyone is assembled, Zo opens up a portal--rather, he rips into space violently, as if doing anything less will cause it to snap back shut again. The way the portal quivers and shakes at the edges, it really might. He'll hurry everyone through--and they'll all step into a bedroom. The bed in the center is decorated in pink, with a large canopy and curtains surrounding the bed itself. The curtains are closed. It's silent, but the pressure is so thick in the air it's a living thing all its own. It's completely silent.

No thank you. [He doesn't go into much detail because that's when the fireball goes off and it starts.

Suzaku spins around following Ruana's path with his sword.

Now was not the time for rushing in, he stayed close to Riku, ready to back him up with his sword, and watched, to see if she would attack first.

[keybearer]

[Riku also watches Ruana's movements carefully, ready to take off on a dime if necessary. At the same time, his Ryu Dragon rears back to fire another fireball at the wall.]

[Ruana leaps from the wall to the ground and approaches, crawling backwards with her spine bent at an unnatural angle and moving as rapidly as if she were running.]

[Well that was disturbing. Suzaku pulled out his gun and shot at her, once, twice, just to test of bullets would even work. They were real luckily, Diarmuid had grabbed him some out of what had been brought back.]

[She twists to dodge the first bullet. The second strikes her thigh--she hisses and bleeds, but it doesn't slow her down.]

[He took it as encouragement, that she bled even if it didn't slow her down. One bullet didn't exactly slow him down either. He shot again, trying to predict her movements and aim for her head]

[The impossible stretch of her neck makes it difficult to predict where her head is going to be. Bullets bury themselves in her skin, but she doesn't falter, hissing again as she lunges for Suzaku with her arms outstretched.]

[He's going to run out of bullets at this rate, as she lunges towards him he switches quickly, drawing his sword and taking a defensive position, ready to strike as she approaches.]

[The sword poised to attack her doesn't seem to perturb her much. She just moves to try and reach around it, her fingers hooked as if to sink invisible claws into Suzaku's chest.]

[He steps backwards, bringing his sword closer to himself to block her hand, knowing full well that though it looks like she is unarmed she is dangerous just in herself.]

[Her fingers hook around the sword. She draws her fist closed anyway, and while her hand begins to bleed the sword also begins to melt where she touches it.]

[Suzaku's eyes widen as the blade begins to melt, he pulled backwards trying to take the sword from her grip before it completely melted.]
