When everyone is assembled, Zo opens up a portal--rather, he rips into space violently, as if doing anything less will cause it to snap back shut again. The way the portal quivers and shakes at the edges, it really might. He'll hurry everyone through--and they'll all step into a bedroom. The bed in the center is decorated in pink, with a large canopy and curtains surrounding the bed itself. The curtains are closed. It's silent, but the pressure is so thick in the air it's a living thing all its own. It's completely silent.

[Following up on Ken's temporary barrier, the crimson bird buffs everyone's speed and agility. They need to move faster to avoid those hits.

Follow by dismissing Suzaku immediately for Throne's group defence buff. Endurance and speed until they can finally hit her...!]

[Yukiko nods a 'thank you' for the speed and agility buffs; they mean a spike that's gotten a little too close doesn't hit. It's best to try to deal with them all at once, though. That means a Maragidyne - maybe hitting the spikes will bring the barrier down along with them? It's worth a shot.]

Pallas Athena! [He casts an Iron Wall, in the hopes of reflecting some of that physical damage back at her. He then switches to Kamakura Gongoro, not wanting to risking it with most of his Persona. Who knew what attacks Ruana might bring out.]

[But hey, casting Makouha might help the situation. Who knew what holy and expel magic could do. Worth a try.]

Sorry. [Ruana's apology is a saccharine taunt, but the spikes turn loose and liquid instantly--coiling around Ken's legs to try and crush them.

The spikes closest to Yukiko evaporate, at least for the moment, though the farther from her the spikes are, the more they seem to be able to resist her fire. The remaining spikes shoot up in a wall against the magic coming toward Ruana. The spikes shatter, but in doing so absorb enough of the attack for Ruana to stop it before it does proper damage.]
