This isn't the Green Sun

Characters: Aradia Megido (OU) + open
Setting: Room 2-03, floor three, floor four or anywhere in-between - just note where you're finding her
Format: Starts in prose but will match comments
Summary: This is not where she expected to end up
Warnings: None.

Aradia had always known that using Noir as a map to the Green Sun would be risky, but nowhere in any of her thoughts had there been the possibility that it would cause her to fall asleep again (at least, she was assuming that was the case) and wake up somewhere entirely different.

Still, she was used to the game throwing weird twists of fate at her. And once she read the notes, even as she wasn't sure how this tied in with what she'd been doing before, she was more than convinced that arguing the matter probably wasn't going to help.

Instead, she decided to make a start on exploring. The first and second floors held little interest; the third, however, caught her attention enough that she spent some time browsing the shelves, making note of the many volumes that appeared to offer interesting reading material. And when she reached the fourth, the vastness of the view around her was enough to convince her that perhaps it would be okay to sit here for a while.

"Yes. We are still alive." That was important, they were alive and they couldn't feel guilty about that or wonder about why or how it had happened. They just had to keep going.

That was what Nezumi would have said anyways, and Shion tried to keep those words in mind. "What was Alternia like?" He asked, interested in knowledge about somewhere he had never heard of before.

Shion listened avidly, he was surprised that she could see the flaws of her society so easily, which suggested that it was not as controled as No. 6 had been. Still a violent and cruel world did not sound like a nice one and Shion hoped her life had been relatively peaceful.

He didn't even know how to begin explaining his world, since he had not even thought before today that there would be people from a different world, who would not know his own. "There is cruelty in my world as well, but also much kindness," he thought about No. 6 and the west town and all they, well; he, had hoped to acomplish. He guessed it didn't matter anymore if the world was destroyed... This was a new place, hopefully one where all humans, and trolls he guessed, lived in equality and peace.

Shion nodded and smiled, "Perhaps here we have been given a second chance, and we can make the kindness greater than the cruelty."

After all if the world had ended then there had to be some point to being saved.

"We should! If we have to start over then we can do our best to make a better world." He smiled again.

Shion nodded and smiled. He liked that idea, and Aradia. "I am sure we will figure it out soon, after all if we were rescued we should be able to meet those who rescued us soon!"

Shion nodded with another smile, he was pretty sure they would be able to talk to their rescuers soon, afterall who would rescue someone and then just leave them with no answers?
