Aradia had always known that using Noir as a map to the Green Sun would be risky, but nowhere in any of her thoughts had there been the possibility that it would cause her to fall asleep again (at least, she was assuming that was the case) and wake up somewhere entirely different.

Still, she was used to the game throwing weird twists of fate at her. And once she read the notes, even as she wasn't sure how this tied in with what she'd been doing before, she was more than convinced that arguing the matter probably wasn't going to help.

Instead, she decided to make a start on exploring. The first and second floors held little interest; the third, however, caught her attention enough that she spent some time browsing the shelves, making note of the many volumes that appeared to offer interesting reading material. And when she reached the fourth, the vastness of the view around her was enough to convince her that perhaps it would be okay to sit here for a while.

And now a dark red flush comes to her cheeks, though she tries to downplay it. "Oh is that so? And you call me the handful?"

He grins at her, though he's still blushing. "Yeah, unlike you, I'm jutht quiet and demure and I alwayth behave."

Okay, she has to snigger at that. "Oh yes, so quiet and demure. I'm not sure how I could ever possibly think that you might be otherwise."

"It'th true," he said in the face of all logic, grinning.

"Are you perhaps implying that I implied I don't believe you?" Frankly, Aradia wasn't paying the blindest bit of attention to where they were going now. It just felt so good to relax and joke with Sollux like they'd always used to.

A tour? What? Sollux had forgotten, too, and was just climbing on autopilot, heading for the videogame room. "I don't even remember what the fuck I implied," he laughed. "Now I'm jutht confuthed."

Aradia was more than happy to just follow - she doubted she'd take much in right now anyway. Another giggle at his comment as she gently squeezed his hand. "It's okay. I'll just assume you said no and we'll leave it at that."

"Fiiiine," he groaned, but he was still snickering. "Honethtly I don't know why I put up with all thith abuthe."

"Yes." She grinned. "How do you put up with all this affectionate, flushed teasing? This is absolutely the worst thing you could possibly ever have to deal with. I should feel ashamed of myself, really."

Even so, she couldn't resist the impulse to lean in and attempt to kiss him on the cheek.

"Yeth, it'th impothhible!" He definitely didn't mind her kissing him on the cheek, and in fact turned his head to give her a peck back, beaming. It really was like all the weeks had been swept away and things were back to normal, which was amazing to him.

Aradia simply laughed, deciding she would let Sollux win this one. Well, "win" in as far as a mutual gentle teasing could be won. It was a wonder to her how naturally she'd fallen back into accepting her feelings for Sollux; in many ways it was as if they had never gone away.

Sollux grinned and quickly led her through the last few floors until he reached his goal and finally stepped off the staircase. "Want to play a bit?" he asked, gesturing towards the comfy chairs and the video game systems.

Aradia simply grinned. She hadn't been much of a troll for video games, SGRUB excepted, but she still had fond memories of playing alongside Sollux. She was never actually any good, but she still had a lot of fun.

"Sure, I'd like that. Just nothing that'll lead to the end of the world this time," she teased.

He knew she wasn't as into it as he was, but it was still fun. He chuckled. "Tho far ath I know, none of thethe will do that. But here, who the fuck knowth?"

He gave her a squeeze and then moved to sort through the games to come up with something they could play together and enjoy. Maybe a first person shooter of some kind.

Aradia moved to settle into one of the chairs as she left Sollux to choose something for them, watching him as he looked through the games. "Well, you never know. Maybe some of the worlds that were destroyed to bring us here were destroyed because someone played the wrong game."

Sollux grabbed a game, shoved it into the machine and picked up two controllers, handing one to Aradia. Then he sat down in the chair next to Aradia's. "Maybe," he agreed. "Anything'th pothhible, I guethh."

"If nothing else, SGRUB taught us that much."

Aradia took hold of the controller, shifting into more of a playing position as she looked across and smiled at him. "I believe the term is 'game on'."

He glanced at her, grinning, and focused on the game, taking on a rather intent look. "You're on, aa."

Aradia also grinned, even as she was quietly trying to figure out what each of the buttons did through a slight trial and error process. Which was fine - she was more interested in the spending time with Sollux part than she was about the winning anyway.
