Summary: Karkat has been awfully quiet lately, and hasn't quiet been seeking out others. How unusual.

[Karkat has just had too many things on his mind. Staying out of trouble, trying not to make more people furious with him, dodging mealtimes to instead feed Spidermom. The attack on the tower had sated her slightly, but it hadn't helped his psyche any. The visions of Imperial Drones on top of more copies of Spidermom were a little too much for him.

He was still sick to his nutrition sack over the whole thing. If those drones had been real, then he would have been leaving Kanaya to them. What kind of shitty friend was he?

Oh wait. That kind of answered the question. So wherever he happens to be, Karkat will be propped against a wall, staring down at his shoes with an everpresent frown of thought.]

[He reaches up to try and ruffle her hair into her eyes.]

[She grins and swats at his hand.]

Why is that even a question?

[She giggles and ignores his question, reaching out in an attempt to ruffle his hair instead.]

[Nope nope nope, he's ducking and dodging her hand, combing his fingers through it subconsciously.]

Excuse you.

[Nope she is in full trolling mode now, so she scoots closer.]

How long do you spend on your hair every day?

[No stop, go away. He's side-eying her really hard right now.]

My hair could never look as amazing as yours, Karkat.

Yeah, pretty much. [He knows she's trolling, but he's going to preen under the compliment anyway.] I bet I could get it close, though.

[THIS IS ACTUALLY SLIGHTLY INTRIGUING.]

So long as you don't bitch at me for using a comb, you got yourself a deal.

[When suddenly: comb out of his jacket.]

She's giggling.]

[Oh revenge will be sweet.

Karkat will just be swinging his legs off the couch to stand, moving behind it and twirling said comb with a very self-satisfied grin.]

Gonna have to sit up straight.

[She sighs dramatically and sits up as straight as possible. Do your worst, Karkat.]

[Karkat will reach over to comb her hair.

...and frown when it gets snagged.]

Holy fuck, Pyrope, do you ever brush your hair?

[She grins.]

Nope!

Note to self: request a new comb.

[But he'll brave the storm either way. Getting it straight is going to be a chore in and of itself, so he'll take his time doing that while he tries to figure out whether or not he wants to ruin her hairdo even more.]

You aren't going to put a bunch of goop in it, are you?

[He can't push down his chuckle fast enough.]

[She catches that and giggles.]

[Once he's got all the knots and such out, he flips a huge portion of it forward and into her eyes. Not that it matters much since she's already blind, but its long enough to feel strange at least.]

[FFFF she makes a face and tries to blow it out of her eyes.]

[He combs it out of her eyes with his hand and snickers a little.]

[Karkat combs her bangs back in front of her face and busies himself with trying to dig a rubber band or something out of his jacket.

When he finally finds two, he gives her two ridiculous pigtails.]
