GROUP NINE
Re: GROUP NINE
Having read the note, she pried open her trunk to find it empty. Glancing around at her current company, she wondered if they too had empty trunks.
GROUP NINE
These weren't her roommates either, from the looks of it. A strange girl, a boy, and a...bear. What? Why was there a bear? That made very little sense, and she made a mental note to ask about that on the network.
There was no point being silent, though. So, rocking on her feet in a childish fashion, she spoke up: "So, um...this is one of the things the tower does to people, huh?"
Re: GROUP NINE
"I hope so," he said in response. "This is pretty tame, don't you think? What are we meant to be escaping from?"
Re: GROUP NINE
The bear, a monochromatic Corudoroy straight out of a child's nightmares, sits on his trunk with his arms crossed. His glass, red eye glares a little from the light above. He didn't bother checking the contents of his trunk unlike the other three.
Re: GROUP NINE
Yes, she was impatient, but she doubted they thought any differently.
Re: GROUP NINE
Gentlefolk, your resident small-human-shaped Cosmic Horror is not quite playing with a full deck. Not by human standards, at any rate. After greeting the bear, she looks at the other humanoids and nods, her face solemn once more.
"At any rate, I agree, we'd better work on getting out of here. I'll see if it's a trap on the other side of the door, all right?" With a brief nod, she hopped off of her mattress and moved to open the door. It made sense, after all - if it was a trap, she'd be able to fix most of her own wounds.
...hopefully it wasn't a guillotine...that would be awful.
