Not the most dignified entrance, but it'll do.
Characters: AU Kyuubey, open to all.
Setting: Room 2-03, Cafeteria, and then Floors 22-24. Yep.
Format: Starting with action brackets, but I'll match you.
Summary: An incubator with emotions arrives in the Tower. Shenanigans ensue, including but not limited to getting stuck on floor freaking 23.
Warnings: Possible death because ha ha incubator.
[Room 2-03]
[Kyuubey was not expecting this outcome. Ze could never have; the world was being destroyed and rewritten, and ze as well was to be rewritten. That had been all right. That had been acceptable.
Waking up with sleep paralysis was not all right. Waking up in an unknown place was not acceptable. After recovering enough to move, ze pads over to the notes in order to read them. Information is power, after all.
Your world has been destroyed. I saved you. Let's all be happy here.
This was unacceptable, and in a show of extreme maturity and calculation, Kyuubey began poking at the letter with a paw, as if trying to break it - or somehow make it not exist. It was an irrational reaction, ze knew that. What was done was done, and yet those feelings remained.]
[Cafeteria]
[S'up all. There is a tiny catlike critter with a violet collar sitting on the table and consuming the oatmeal daintily, licking at it bit by bit. The critter doesn't seem to be perturbed by the taste at all. In fact, it seems to be intent on finishing as much of the oatmeal as it can.
Waste not want not, after all. Ze learned a long time ago how important that was to people.]
[Floor 22< - >Floor 24]
[Having decided to enter human form for a change, Kyuubey is now exploring the tower. The only problem, however, is that this tower doesn't make sense.
Long story short, there is what looks like a violet-collared, white-jumpsuit-wearing kid in the art room, looking at the stairway up in utter confusion. There is a missing floor, and that is something ze simply cannot comprehend. What is going on here?
So ze walks up to Floor 24 again.
...And back.
...There was something there, right?...]

cafeteriaaa
No verbal greeting is given or required, it just offers the standard greeting between minds - an offer of joining, sharing, would have been given, were they not incubators and their separation and identity required - and waits for it to finish eating. ]
cafeteriaaa
That's why it is actually surprised upon seeing the other, being greeted by it. Ze finishes the remnants of the porridge and then offers the standard greeting back. It's a little rusty, though - it's been a long time since ze has spoken to another incubator, and it shows.]

Obviously it isn't surprised by the other's appearance, but still.... There's something off. It doesn't hide this either. ]
Have you been damaged?

Cafeteria
No. Glaring.
It's clearly not the same one he encountered on the elevator. But he knows the name. And knows the description now.*
...Your name is Kyuubey, isn't it?
Cafeteria
Yes, it is. Short for "Incubator," but it seems you already know this. I assume this means there is another Incubator here already?
no subject
*Of The Darkness, he almost says. But then he recalls that another, "Jyuubey", could...purify. That doesn't make sense.*
...You trick young women into giving their souls away.

Floor 22.
We do not mean to interrupt, but floor 23 was not built. It does not exist. This was likely an intentional oversight. We would not recommend continued search for it; there is a high statistical probability of a poor outcome.
beep boop how do we emotions
It certainly seems as if there is something there, but I'll trust your judgment on this. This tower doesn't seem to be normal at all, and I only arrived within the last 24 hours.
[Translation: you've been here longer, you probably know better.]
very subtly!!
Appreciated. We have been here exactly 26 days, or 624 hours, 37,440 minutes, and 2,246,400 seconds and counting. According to the "Tower" timeframe, we arrived on Friday, September 14th, Earth Year 2012 AD.
[ Helpful, it is. ]
We are not entirely certain the floor does not exist--cloaking technology is not out of the question. If it is not meant to be seen by those of us they have taken here, however, I would suspect some sort of defensive system would be in place.
this works
don't worry they can lern2emote together

Cafeteria.
So, Kyuubey, have a long, pointy-eared blonde person with a lot of magical energy around them decked out in all sorts of weaponry and items (sword, shield, things on their belt) and wearing a green collar approaching you.
For a moment, Link pauses, silent, unsure what to say. It's just... it's just that it's... it's...
So damn cute.
Hrrghhhhhh they really want to just... PICK KYUUBEY UP AND HUG IT? But that's not... very heroic or manly or anything so Link refrains. Barely. ]
... You just arrived, I take it... no one ever eats that voluntarily.
Cafeteria.
They don't? Why? It's what we have to eat here, isn't it?

OH BOY...
I have just arrived in this tower, and am eating. I am unable to create new contracts here, if that is any help.
[...Ze is being completely serious about this, but rushes to finish the oatmeal and turn around to face Homura anyway. Homura looks particularly angry - which means a divergent timeline. Possibly. Possibly not. Ze will probably never understand humans completely.
Ze just...sits there, looking blankly at Homura, waiting.]
