i'll take you on;
Characters: Ken and open!
Setting: The meadow floor (25).
Format: Either.
Summary: Ken's looking for some sparring practice. Hopefully people will answer his request from his network post.
Warnings: Violence, probably language. idk what else.
Ken didn't really care who came to see him in the meadow. Hopefully it would be at least one person, but he needed the practice anyway. He'd brought a few spears, in case anyone came to learn, but his more sturdy spear was in his hands.
He thrust forward, backward, and then planted it in the ground, using it like a pole vault to leap forward. He couldn't go as far as he used to - he still needed to adjust for weight. He wasn't as short as he used to be. Really, his spears probably needed to be extended, but he'd have to find someone to help with that.
He didn't trust everyone here. He couldn't. Really, there were only a few people he could trust - but that was enough for him. Still, better to give off the illusion of friendliness and openness in a place like this.
... He was thinking too much. Hopefully someone would show soon.

"Hey".
Punctial and spoken as always.

"Weapons or Persona?"
no subject
The answer then: both. He put down his gun so there would only be his sword. "I'm ready when you are."
no subject
He grinned and launched himself towards Naoyaa. Dodging practice first.

"You've gotten stronger." His sword in hand he swung hard at his spear, with the intent of hitting it so hard it would fly out of his hand.

With his sword in hand, he heads to the meadow. Look, there's the kid from the network post. Being about as cheerful as he can manage, he calls out:
"Hey, you're pretty good with that spear, kid!"
Tact or heeding warnings? Prussia? Never. (Well, maybe sometimes, but that's beside the point.)

"Considering I've been using it for a while..."

"I'm usually fine when it comes to landings."

"Hopefully, this isn't overly presumptuous of me..." Diarmuid holds up a spear he has 'borrowed' from an orc, "You mentioned a growth spurt and I didn't know if you had been able to get yourself a new weapon or alter your old ones. It took a bit for me to find one that seemed the right size, and I think this one might be a little large still, but I hardly think you are done growing. Would you like to give it a try?"
no subject
"I'm actually used to spears that are a little big. The ones I use might actually be the length they're supposed to be, but they're getting a little too short to be used for spinning around on. ... Thanks."

He holds out his hand and a moment later, Gae Dearg appears in it, "Shall we test how well it works?"
no subject
He nods, and sets down his other spear, moving to the side a bit before rushing forward.

[Lancer arrives at the meadow, carrying his spear over his shoulders in a casual position.]

I usually am.

[He also twirls his spear, throwing it from hand to hand.]

[He shoots forward, planting his spear into the ground and using his momentum to come in from above.]

Hey! Ho fair!
[Abandoning the spear for a kick on the first move? That was something he hadn't expected.]

He didn't go for a tackle hug, not when Ken had a spear in his hand.
