[Waver blinked a few times upon waking up, genuinely confused. He ran a hand through his hair to get it out of his face before tying it back in a ponytail, trying to wake up fully and process this.]

[It wasn't possible he'd walked into the wrong room the night before, was it? No, he'd definitely been alone when he'd fallen asleep at an ungodly hour. A cursory examination of his trunk revealed that the few things he owned were all in place as well. Catching sight of the note explaining things cleared up his confusion, but left a new problem or two.]

[How incredibly aggravating, if well-intentioned. Waver had been enjoying having a room to himself--it was quiet and nearly no one actually bothered him. And since he doubted this was limited to just him, the remaining question was who else had been relocated and where?]

[Pulling on the usual green suit jacket, he contemplated going out and taking inventory of the situation rather than staying and introducing himself. Social situations were not his specialty.]

[ Lelouch had woken up earlier, but thinking that he might actually still be sleeping, he had fallen back asleep. he was curled up in what blankets he had with his face to the wall. he didn't snore or anything, actually...Lelouch was a rather quiet sleeper. that would probably be great for everyone new in the room ]

[ once he heard someone moving, he stirred and then jumped up actually. his short hair was pressed to the side of his face where he had been sleeping. his eyes still a little blurry, he could see that there was someone in the room. at least someone that he didn't know... but he wasn't going to attack them like most other people here might ]

[ he blinked a couple of times, trying to focus in on who it might be before he spoke up. maybe they were lost? ]

...Can I help you with something?

[Sam blinked when he saw someone he hadn't met before in the room. He sat up and looked at the man. He recognised him, even if hadn't spoken to him before, so maybe he wasn't new. Unless this was another double.] Hello? Are you alright there?

[fionnuisce]

For a given measure of alright, yes.

[Waver straightened up and folded his arms, remaining composed. On the scale of things that could have happened in this place, this wasn't more than an annoyance.]

You'll both have to forgive the sudden intrusion. It seems I've been relocated involuntarily.

[Sam got up properly, pulling on clothes] Relocated? [He frowned and then went to the door, opening to check the number, to check they were still in the same place.] Seems like a strange thing to happen.

[ unfortunately, Lelouch remained where he was. he was still a little out of it from being woken up quickly ]

Re...located? So suddenly?

[Waver shrugged and raised his hands defensively.] Don't look at me, I'm just as lost here. I was in an empty room last night, and I think I would recall if that wasn't the case.

[Sure enough, his name was there with the rest of theirs...if 'Lord El-Melloi II' was a name. (It wasn't.)]

Lord El-Melloi the second. [Sam read off the door, they were indeed in the same room as before, so only this Lord had been moved] Well it is nice to meet you, regardless. I'm Samwise but most folk call me Sam [He went back to sit down to let Lelouch introduce himself]

A lord? [ Lelouch blinked a couple of times. finally though, he did move from where he was sitting. he didn't want the other to think he was rude. he knew it didn't matter if the other was royalty or not, everyone was the same here. but still...manners! ]

I'm Lelouch Lamperouge. Sam and I have been staying here for a while. [ he said this and glanced over at Sam with a smile ] I guess you have no choice but to stay here. Make yourself at home.

[fionnuisce]

[He answered with a dismissive shrug.] It's just 'Waver', if you don't mind. I don't know why this place stuck my title there, but my name's Waver Velvet.

[Titles didn't hold much value around here, and at this point Waver's own didn't do much more than irritate him.]

It's good to meet both of you as well--I'll apologize in advance for the fact that I keep terribly late hours and do what I can not to aggravate you to the point of throwing me out headfirst.

[Sam nodded, though he was more used to noble titles and such than he once was, dropping them was no trouble for him.] We won't be throwing anyone out, head first or otherwise.

[But expect to be forcibly fed, it's a byproduct of living with a hobbit]

Waver, got it. [ Lelouch couldn't help but to chuckle a little. he moved to the front of his bed ]

Don't worry about that. I stay up rather late at night if I'm worried or reading. I believe you'll fit right in.

Glad to hear it. I don't think we'll have much difficulty coexisting and not beating the hell out of each other. I hope the majority of the tower is as fortunate.

Let's hope so. Do you think everyone's been moved around? [Because he knew of some that would have trouble not fighting with each other]

[ he hadn't even thought of that and looked over to Sam. his brain was still half asleep unfortunately ]

How would we know for sure? Would we just have to check the doors? I wonder if my brother or Suzaku was moved...

It's entirely possible. I wouldn't go so far as to assume I was the only one living in an empty room. As for how to find out, I would assume checking the doors to be the most straightforward method.

[Mildly surprised by a familiar name, he glanced to Lelouch.]

You're one of Suzaku's friends?

We will have to go and see [He smiled and let Lelouch answer the question, he did not know this Suzaku fellow, nor did he know Lelouch's brother]

[ he paused, frownly lightly. he believed that they were friends but he wasn't sure that the other did ] We come from similar worlds, he and I. He knew my brother, Rolo, and myself. I went to school with him.
