Shion woke up early as usual, blinking when he noticed that the fourth bed in their room was full once more. He looked over, wondering who had arrived now and looked confused when he saw Reno.

"Reno?"

"...Oh yeah, I forgot." Reno's not really surprised he suddenly found himself in 2-12 again. He woke up almost immediately, of course, especially given the fact he's slept in. "I asked Zo to move me. Sorry 'bout that. I forgot to put the note on your forehead."

"You asked?" Shion blinked, still half asleep and then his face broke into a smile as he left his bed and went to hug Reno tightly.

[midgarhorizon]

"Yep. Gonna get forehead notes every day." Reno hugged him back, giving off a big yawn. Sleep in, and he still feels tired. Maybe the room change will help with that...

"I'm going to start laying traps." He sulked, he was sure he could find a book about it in the library, he knew how to trap animals already, surely people were not that much more difficult.

"Ya really don't like it that much?" Reno's eyebrows tried to meet his hairline, giving Shion a headruffle. "Say, who else is in this room?"

Shion just shook his head, trying to hide his smile. "Oh Gilgamesh and Jounouchi. They are really nice."

[midgarhorizon]

"Yeah? Sounds good. Maybe they won't mind all those letters I'm gettin' constantly..." He said, laughing. "Hey, let's go down, see what we can get outta the kitchen."

Shion smiled, "They won't I am sure." He smiled and nodded, "Alright, at least the menu's changed." Zo was in charge, always a good thing.

[midgarhorizon]

Reno gave him a punch in the arm. "Wrong kitchen, kiddo. We got our own, remember? Let's see what they've been makin' outta all that meat we've been bringing in."

"Oh." Shion looked down, "Yes." He nodded, since he mostly foraged and his hunting skills were not that great he mostly didn't eat in that kitchen, since he didn't think he had provided enough to it, especially with him being so tired and weak this month.

[midgarhorizon]

"What's wrong?" If Reno didn't know Shion so well, he might have let it pass, but that sudden look has Reno's Shion senses tingling. "You not hungry?"

"Nothing." Said too quickly and Shion blushed, "I mean, I'm fine. I'm not really that hungry."

[midgarhorizon]

Sighing, Reno leaned back and folded his arms, waiting for Shion to tell the truth and come out with whatever was bothering him. And he didn't believe for a moment that Shion wasn't hungry. He's eighteen, Reno of all people knew the kind of appetites a kid that age has.

Shion just sighed back, "I just don't want to use food that people might need. We don't know when they will stop the food again."

[midgarhorizon]

"Don't worry 'bout it. You know I told Enoch about it, he's got his people working on it and we bring in food too. You're not gonna be much use unless ya eat, y'know?" He sat up, concern etched on his face and frowning. What is with his family being self sacrificing like that? At least Cu and Diarmuid didn't need to eat. "You're important. You got skills nobody else here does. Take care of yourself. That's an order."

Shion frowned but nodded. He knew he had skills that were needed, Reno told him almost every day, but he wasn't someone who fought all the time or ran around protecting others, they were who needed as much food and energy as they could get.

"Alright." He knew not to argue, so just nodded.
