summary: Eridan has found heaven, aka, somewhere to watch movies and forget his life sucks quite as much as it does.

[After making himself scarce for a bit, trying to get a hold of everything going on and finally finish untangling his goddamn reels, Eridan's wandering around the Tower landed him somewhere he almost dare hope wouldn't suck too much. He wasn't sure he wanted to tempt fate and ask how it could suck: there were movies he had never watched there. So after making sure he wasn't going to run into someone he didn't want to, he curled up in a beanbag chair and set up to demolish a pile of movies until he either felt better, the world stopped sucking, or he forgot he felt like shit because the world sucked.

If you enter the media room, you'll find his horns the most recognizable part of his silhouette against the screen where something vaguely violent but definitely adventurous is going on. He's folded his knees to his chest, resting his chin on his knees, and seems completely absorbed by the narrative trying hard to be heard over the explosions and Really Fucking Cool Shit going on in the movie.

[Eridan shifted in his beanbag chair, bending his neck back until he was able to stare at whoever was behind him, which he realized had to be an alternate Vriska. For starters, the Vriska he knew would never call him Ampora just like that. Eridan rolled his eyes behind his sunglasses, the glare of the screen reflected on them and decided to go for the obvious question.]

...are you blind?

[fabricates]

[She rolls her eyes, leaning her face against her hand as she eyes him. Jade in his hair? Well, that was different. But she doesn't really care enough to ask.]

Blind girl is Terezi's department, I wouldn't want to infringe. You didn't answer the question.

[Eridan settled back in place to watch the action going on screen, snorting. Boring! Honestly.]

[Bad idea. She'll just reach other with her leg and settle her foot against his back and push casually to make him uncomfortable. ::::)]

[Eridan stares straight ahead for a moment, before carefully shifting about in the beanbag, trying to avoid the pointy foot trying to annoy him.]

[The comment was terse, as he squirmed around, trying to avoid asking her to shove her foot up her--]

[Yeah, her foot isn't moving any time soon. In fact, the more he squirms, the more pressure she puts on it.]

The perks of avoiding socialization for the sake of keeping the timeline from being repeatedly doomed, apparently. He grinds his teeth a bit, not entirely sure what to do in this situation, and feeling irritated. He wasn't bothering her, hell, he didn't even know her.

[Oh- oh! She would know that rugged visage anywhere. She lets up on the pressure before pulling her foot away all together. Fuck Eridan, there are more important things to pay attention to here. Like Nic Cage, hello???????? There may or may not be hearts in her eyes over this.]

[Eridan plopped back as soon as the pressure left, letting out a soft huff of air as his spine stopped being abused. He turned on the beanbag, though, to give Vriska an incredulous look as soon as her words registered.]

[Her eyes begrudgingly flick from the TV to his face, narrowing.]

What the hell is that supposed to mean?

[He sinks further into the beanbag. And then he snorted derisively, before he could even help himself.]

[She smirks, feeling pretty good about herself right now. Eridans were always fun to annoy.]

[The eyeroll is pretty epic, though thankfully hidden behind the sunglasses. What are you, three? Bluh, bluh. Eridan snorts.]

[She's just calling it how she sees it. Don't take it personally.]

[He snorts again but snuggles into the beanbag to continue watching the movie.
