{Kidou decided when he woke up today that he had given Sakuma long enough to calm down over the events that had happened upon Genda arriving. He had a plan, a plan to get Sakuma to forgive Genda or at least talk to him again.

After getting changed, he notices Sakuma still asleep and walks over, crouching down so he can be face-to-face with him and gently shaking his shoulder]

Sakuma, wake up.

[ She crosses her arms before nodding. ]

It is bit worrisome. Especially Genda-san. But let's trust them for now, huh?

[He also crosses his arms] Mm, this is something that they should probably solve by themselves, anyway.

[notsoquiet]

[ This brings up something she has been curious for a while now ... ]

Why were they fighting in the first place? I thought they were best friends.

[pengeen]

[Oh wow how embarrassing. He's hesitant to tell her, but he decides that she shouldn't be out of the loop.]

It's my fault that they're fighting. When Genda had arrived, he and I had a contest and we both made bets on who would win. Needless to say, I won and Genda had to do something involving Sakuma that was very embarrassing for both of them.

[He points to his not-as-black-as-it-used-to-be-black eye.] I got this from Genda afterward.

[notsoquiet]

[ ... Boys. Maybe onii-chan deserved this one punch.

But Haruna tenderly touches the edge of the fading bruise with her fingertip. Good thing it's healing pretty quickly. ]

He sure didn't pull anything back did he?

[He winces just a bit. Though it looks almost healed, it still hurts when touched (hence why he's wearing his goggles around his neck)]

No, he didn't.

[notsoquiet]

[ She giggles softly. ]

There, there. It looks like it'll be gone by day after tomorrow. So hang in there onii-chan.

[pengeen]

[He smirks] I'll be fine. I'm just thankful I only have one black-eye instead of two.

[notsoquiet]

[ O-onii-chan with two black eyes ... Hahaha! She can't help it. Sorry Kidou. ]

Heh heh ... Phew.

Well, I said all that to buy them some time, but I don't actually have anything planned for us to do. What about you?

{He puts his hand to his chin and thinks]

Well, I was going to suggest Sakuma, Genda, and I go to the meadow to learn each other's hissatsu techniques earlier. [He looks at Haruna for a moment after saying that.]


...do you think you could learn hissatsu techniques, Haruna?

[notsoquiet]

Me?

[ The thought has never crossed her. She's the manager, not the soccer player. But ... ]

It might be handy to learn one or two ... But I have to warn you. I am not nearly as good as Touko-san or Rika-san.

No one is good at something the first time they try it.

[He smirks] Would you like to try?

[notsoquiet]

[ She nods energetically. ]

Definitely! Let's see onii-chan is midfielder so - something like Illusion Ball might be a good start. It's not too complicated, not to mention that I always wanted to try it.

[pengeen]

If you're going to be learning hissatsu techniques, you should change into a soccer uniform.

[He takes her hand and starts taking her to the staircase.]

[ She laughs before taking the lead. ]

Gee, Onii-chan. You don't have to be so considerate now. I can walk just fine!

[ And to demonstrate this she cheerfully walks up the stairs. ]

Ah-

[He frowns just slightly as she walks ahead of him. He wasn't holding her hand to be considerate, he was worried of her getting out of his sight. You never know when something or someone in this Tower was going to try to hurt you, after all. But he sighs and follows after, shoving his hands in his jacket pockets.]

Do you remember the way to my room, even when it's dark like this?

[notsoquiet]

Of course. I can't forget something important like that.

[ She wouldn't be much of a reporter if she forget information that quickly. ] It helps that it's pretty close to mine though.

[He smirks]

That's true.

[notsoquiet]

It almost feels like they knew we were siblings. I mean what are the chances?

[pengeen]

On top of that, Sakuma was placed into my room. [A pause as he's thinking]

It doesn't seem like a coincidence to me.

[notsoquiet]

Now that you mention it ... [ She nods, thoughtful. ]

Wait. If that's case though, shouldn't Genda-san be closer to us?

[pengeen]

He should be. [He's quiet for a moment] ...but that's never the case with him.

[notsoquiet]

I feel a little sorry for him ...

[ First he wasn't in the Inazuma Japan selection and now this. ]

[pengeen]

Yeah.

[You have no idea how guilty Kidou feels about it.]

But he's here with us now, and I'm not going to let him get stuck by himself anymore then he already has.

[Because he still counts Genda as a friend, and a teammate; even though they were split into different teams.]

So we'll have to make sure he's not lonely, right?

[ Onii-chan has tendency to make something sound complicated when it's really quite simple. She smiles. ]

[ And what do you know? They're at Haruna's room already. ]
