What goes BUMP in the night
Characters: Prussia and Hungary/ open
Setting: In the darkened corridors of the dorms
Format: Prose?
Summary: The power's gone out, so Prussia is scouting to try to find out why this is.
Warnings: TBA
After the power had gone out, and had been out for longer than a few hours Prussia had given up on waiting around in his room and speculating on what had gone wrong in the tower. But once he was out in the hallways, armed with his sword, was when the sense of foreboding started in. It wasn't the dark that had him worried, he'd grown through the centuries where campfires were the only source of light and being in the dark was more than just a literal sense of the word. It was the movement he'd noticed in the shadows, vague humanoid shapes that'd vanish when he'd turn to peer into the murky darkness. Yet he swore he knew the silhouette of the figures that disappeared.
What had disturbed him more had been the voices that he'd sworn he'd heard calling his name and whispering close to him. Brandishing his sword he looked around into the darkness, this was much too strange for him.

To each time Hungary spoke the little bird gave a cheep and a flutter of wings, brushing against her hand in the darkness. It was a quiet moment, before Gilbert shivered and leaned away from Hungary to sneeze and grumble to himself in German about drafts. Then he was leaning against her again, making himself comfortable and trying to use her as a space heater.

Her breath held as he curled up more against her and lean against her, glancing away from where his form was with a deep blush staining her cheeks. Blindly reaching out, she fumbled for the blanket on the bed and pulled it off without moving much from her spot and quickly draped it over him. "Last thing we need is you getting sick now." She huffed.

"You know me, I sneeze and get cold easily. It's why I wear so many layers other than the fact that I burn almost as soon as I go outside." he wasn't impressed about the last part. He remembered the one time Hungary had talked him into visitng Greece back when they were still on friendly terms. It had not been what Gilbert remembered as a fun trip after his terrible sunburn. After that he vowed to stick to more moderate climates with a lot of shade and a bucket of sunscreen.
"...but thanks." not knowing what else to do he gave her another hug.

Once that was done, she went back to stroking his hair while she leaned back to the wall, carefully moving her legs out from under her to rest on either of his sides so he could lay on her and she wouldn't lose feeling in them. "Comfortable?"
no subject
"Oddly, very comfortable. Your chests nice, like a pillow." he muttered, he knew he was pushing it but Liz seemed to be in a good mood so he was going to poke the boundaries and see if she'd poke back. In a way he liked when she teased him and he was glad there was someone he could actually do that with that wouldn't bring down half of the UN on his head.

Hearing that though, about her chest, Hungary flushed and slapped the back of his head with a grumble before stroking gently at the spot she hit. "Lookit that...my hand slipped."
no subject
He grunted and pressed his head more into her chest when she smacked him.
"Bullshit your hand slipped. Do that again and I'll grope you." he muttered as a threat.

"It was nice having you so tame so...don't ruin it right now by being yourself."

He knew Hungary was a huge pervert even if she tried to cover it up by being ladylike. Maybe he could coax her into sleeping with him, after all it was dark enough that he could just barely make her sihouette out in the dark.

"Don't be an idiot." She huffed before releasing his nose with a small growl as she glanced away again in the dark. Thank God there wasn't a hint of light or else she'd be glowing like a red glow worm. "You have enough partners without adding me to your list."
no subject
"You completely want to sleep with me don't you Liz?"
no subject
"Don't be ridiculous! You're my childhood friend and you thought I was a man! It would be too weird and you know it. Why ruin what fragile friendship we have by adding another element of intimacy that would just...make it awkward? There's too much at risk." Their friendship was already hanging on a thread; if they ended up having sexy it could just risk snapping that thread and her losing him all together to the awkwardness.

"Liz, why when I say nice things to you, you shoot me down? If you really wanted me as a friend then I don't think you'd say the shit you do when I actually try."

"And when I'm with the guys, unlike what most nations think, we rarely talk about other nations or girls we know when we're out drinking."
