[ A competition, huh? He didn't sign-up for that. Pretty sure no one did.

He sighs, takes a cigar and lights it up. This man is pretty heavily armed, an his assault riffle on his back, two handguns and some grenades on top of other equipment he has on him. Nevertheless, he doesn't look aggressive, he is pretty much like everyone else in the room: surprises, bothered and annoyed at this turn of events.

So to sum it up, those guys are trying to determinate who is the best Tower Controller? Maybe that's the perfect occasion to demonstrate them than neither of the three are fit for the job. Maybe if they sabotaged this competition from the inside...

Under normal circumstances? Survival,competitions are things Big Boss excels at. But he's been unimpressed by those in charge so far. They're obviously incompetent and obsessed by control, it's even worse than Zero. If they purposefully lost this competition, it could create some trouble amongst those in charges.

Now to find people willing to try and sabotage the competition- And hoping that someone in the two other groups will have the same idea. He isn't afraid of punishments... But he knows many are. ]

[Alcor had come across many odd people in his time in the tower- but he had not expected to see someone like this. It had been quite a while since he'd seen any military personnel that wasn't JP's.

Even still, he found himself drawing closer as the man lit his cigar, eyeing him curiously.]

You seem troubled.

[He was doing his best to not read people's wills here- but he had always seen smoking to be a nervous action. Granted, he didn't quite get it, so he knew he could be wrong, but...]

Well, we're being used in this little game of their making to help them determinate who's the better sadist to control this tower.

[ He drew on his cigar then shook his head before looking at the young man in front of him. Troubled? He could only hope everyone in this room was as troubled as he was, otherwise this would be pretty worrying. ]

You ain't troubled?

I suppose I should be, hm?

[Said with a smile.]

I have faith that a favorable outcome will be determined by this event. At the very least, the lack of mazes is hopeful.

[This is the only way the star knows how to joke, you'll have to excuse the bbygod on this one. However, he did turn a touch serious after a moment or two.]

Assuming our captors honor their claims, of course. The parameters of 'victory' could easily be constrained to allow the dissection-happy one reign. With any luck, those in his group will not be quick to try and assure themselves a victory...but I cannot say the same for 'Dax'.

[ He nods and smiles as well, for a short moment at least. ]

Well, I personally believe we should sabotage their little competition. Do nothing of what they expect and purposefully do everything they don't want us to do. We can't win at their game, so we've got to play our own game and write its rules if we hope to win.

[ He draws on his cigar- Dissection happy one? Okay, better hope those in his group are smartass and won't do a thing right. ]

I've not been here for long, what makes you think those with that Dax could try and assure themselves victory?

I would like to believe such were possible...but not everyone is strong enough to risk their own traumas to such an outcome. The will of mankind is not always suited to the greater good.

[He looked pretty upset even stating that, but...he couldn't lie and say it hadn't crossed his mind.]

From what little I have been able to gleam from their network logs, Dax has been in staunch opposition to some of our worse treatments. I cannot speak for him being kid, but at the very least he has spoken out against our treatment to some degree. It seems he is, however, in the minority.
