So, as soon as she's in the circular common room, she's scanning the crowd, not her setting. Though it's undeniable how uncomfortable this place is making her just by existing, and she isn't sure why.]

--Sorry...! [Was his immediate response, though upon further inspection it was obvious she was a bit out of it.]
Are you alright...?
[Well, as alright as one could be in this situation.]

He sighs, takes a cigar and lights it up. This man is pretty heavily armed, an his assault riffle on his back, two handguns and some grenades on top of other equipment he has on him. Nevertheless, he doesn't look aggressive, he is pretty much like everyone else in the room: surprises, bothered and annoyed at this turn of events.
So to sum it up, those guys are trying to determinate who is the best Tower Controller? Maybe that's the perfect occasion to demonstrate them than neither of the three are fit for the job. Maybe if they sabotaged this competition from the inside...
Under normal circumstances? Survival, competitions are things Big Boss excels at. But he's been unimpressed by those in charge so far. They're obviously incompetent and obsessed by control, it's even worse than Zero. If they purposefully lost this competition, it could create some trouble amongst those in charges.
Now to find people willing to try and sabotage the competition- And hoping that someone in the two other groups will have the same idea. He isn't afraid of punishments... But he knows many are. ]

Even still, he found himself drawing closer as the man lit his cigar, eyeing him curiously.]
You seem troubled.
[He was doing his best to not read people's wills here- but he had always seen smoking to be a nervous action. Granted, he didn't quite get it, so he knew he could be wrong, but...]

So he glanced around the crowd, quietly watching as he regained his mental bearings and then his attention was a bit...sidetracked to the odd structure of the common room. There was a good handful of people here, and it didn't really seem like there could be enough room to fit one room per person in this area.
He had thus opted to peak into one of the bedrooms-- it was better than being in the crowded common room right now, he didn't do well with all the loud chatter anyway. So instead, he was running his hand along the wall, feeling the corners but... it was still perfectly round?]
no subject
Well, not obnoxiously. She stood in the doorframe, looking the room over. ]

But there's gravity...and even without, this would have to be illusionary...
[Maybe if he stood on one foot...? That just seemed to make him wobble even more-]
no subject
Just in case.
So there's the smallest raised eyebrow for Alcor and his little experiments with gravity. ]
Illusionary in what way, if I may ask?

Gravity works in illusions unless you specifically say it shouldn't look like that. At least where I'm from, anyway. And whoever made this illusion has a lot of power to affect this many people at once.

Currently, he's standing apart from the rest of the group, leaning against a wall and keeping an eye on them. There's nothing he can do right now except learn what he can from what's happening before acting.]
no subject
But he's scanning through the faces in the common area. There's a sense of both disappointment and relief that he can't find either Grell or William among the number here. Maybe they weren't taken. Maybe they were spared. But he still wanted to make sure.
So with a sigh, he slumps himself against the wall before glancing over. ]
Ah, scuse me. Mind if I ask a few things?

[ She'd returned to the common room after her exchange with Jun, preferring the noise of a clustered group than the muffled silence of the bedroom. It distracted her from the strange geometry troubling her senses. ]

[Fuck. His head is spinning. Taro looks up from where he's fallen on the floor in the common area and... ugh. He doesn't want to drop his illusion but he is having trouble maintaining even the bare minimum of effort needed to keep it up, so he pulls himself over to the wall(?) and lets it drop.]
[So now there's a small furry creature with gigantic balls leaning against the wall. Now, Taro is not a creature who takes most things so seriously - it's just not in his nature. But making illusions like this is stepping onto his turf.]
Bastards. You think you can pull this kind of stuff on me? I'm older than you - probably, anyway, you looked pretty young in that video - and I've been messing with making things look like other things before you were probably even born! It's a dirty trick, trying to pull this kind of thing on someone like me. Come out here and let me take a look at you, no head-messing just man to... er. Man to tanuki I guess. Come on, I oughta...
[Pod Two, you now have an angrily ranting furry little thing. Enjoy.]

Hey.
You might feel some hands under your armpits suddenly, and then abruptly feel the floor no longer. In fact, you seem to be HOVERING! But hey, at least it's just a star and not a goddamn horrorterror. Sorta.]
This may aid us both, I suspect.
[What is giving a warning before acting??? Something Alcor always forgets to do, that's what!]

[Miyabi's never been as glad to see Eikichi as she is after she's ushered- quite rudely- into the proper pod and had the door shut behind her. Almost immediately the place makes her uneasy; something about the room- she has a feeling the pulsing walls might be it- makes her want to find someplace to sit and reassure herself she's firmly on the ground. Her hands reach for his arm, intending to pull herself closer, fingers threading with his.]
Have you seen any of the others?

So for right now, a tall teenager is moving through the crowd at the expense of ignoring everyone else around him, trying to find a blue crest of hair (how hard could that honestly be?) or light blue school uniforms or anything at all.
After that, they can figure out whatever they need to.]
no subject
He hates it and everything it stands for, and what does a tower stand for if not imperious gall and hubris?
At this point, it almost seems to be handselecting torments specifically for him. It might even be funny, in an ironic sense, but by his metric--and who here, really, is more qualified to call it?--the game had already set the bar impossibly fucking high before the Tower got to him, though last month did certainly make it worse.
He's glancing around a bit, watching the motions of the spatial rape that is this pod. He ignores the ambient chatter, though it isn't hard--he has someone speaking to him, closer than anyone else in the room.
She's very loud, right now.He doesn't listen.
He'll tune her out for as long as he needs to. He will not lose to this insufferable tower again.
The impossible geometries of this place haven't gone unnoticed--oh no, far from it, isn't that the point? Hell, they're making his problems worse. But he will make it through.
He casts a scanning glance--more of a swept glare--over the group in the common room, trying to at least find some familiar faces. At this point, he really doesn't know if that would help.]
this was totally here the whole time
his lips are set in a frown as he gets his first good look at the room itself, now that he doesn't have to contend to see over people much taller than he is. ]
Excuse me--have you been here before?
[ he asks the person nearest him. for all he knows, this could be a common occurrence. ]
