viditlibertas: (☆ But how...?)

The dimensions are not a product of man's creation. The ability to bend reality's laws is not one they often achieve, due in part to the taxing nature it holds on their concepts of structure-

[Finally, he lost his balance, but quickly caught himself by hovering an inch or so off the floor. He didn't even seem aware of who he was talking to as he spoke.]

To create such a place would require one to shed such thoughts, though possibly not totally...

An interesting proposition.

[ Though truth be told, he'd been mulling over that ever since he'd set foot here. What this place was made of and how they'd all been brought here for who knows what reason. He doesn't seem to react to the hovering however save for the smallest perk of his brow. ]

Would it then be far fetched to believe that this place is entirely the construct of one's thoughts made material?

It could be. One's imagination could give birth to such a place, and one with a strong enough will could construct it...

[Alcor gives pause, actually regarding his company.]

But that would involve one who could supercede the will of everyone here- lest the illusion would crumble if we wished and imagined it to.

One with an even stronger will could destroy it as he pleased should such an ability exist.

[ A beat as he glanced back. ]

Would I be correct to assume you are led to believe this could be nothing more than a simple mass-hysteria?

It may be insulting to say this so bluntly, but mankind is often one to fall for such effects, yes.

[He paused, and touched his hand to his chin.]

Of course, I cannot say for certain that non-humanoids would be as likely to fall in to mass hysteria. I know I should not be able to, and yet these dimensions are familiar to me.
