If there's nothing beneath you, sometimes there's a really conspicuous change in the floor tile, or a random pile of leaves. Or the floor could sag a little bit because everything else has something under it, but that part doesn't. And if boards fall... well, you just check for loose boards. Which you can do if you're flying!

[He is the pranking master, Kidou. You can't pull anything over on him.]

[personal profile] pengeen 2012-06-07 04:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Not necessarily. I have had experience with both, more so with the boards. They don't always look loose before falling, and sometimes you don't even know where they came from.

Which is why you test it by throwing something at them, like a rock or wind. And then you can just catch it.

[personal profile] pengeen 2012-06-07 05:00 pm (UTC)(link)
[He sighs] You can't throw wind at something.

Wanna bet? [Smiiiirk.]

[personal profile] pengeen 2012-06-07 05:12 pm (UTC)(link)
What I mean is the correct term would be to move the wind at something, not throw it.

[personal profile] windykind 2012-06-07 05:20 pm (UTC)(link)
[He tilts his head, thinking this over.] ...Fair enough.

[personal profile] pengeen 2012-06-07 05:27 pm (UTC)(link)
[He smirks] We should probably start looking for traps instead of arguing about them.
windykind: (windyfist)

[personal profile] windykind 2012-06-08 07:20 pm (UTC)(link)
...Yeah, you're right. [Laugh.] Wow, I kind of got caught up there! Well, c'mon. [And he commences floating along; even if Kidou doesn't want to ~*fly*~, it doesn't mean he can't.]

[personal profile] pengeen 2012-06-08 08:08 pm (UTC)(link)
[He walks by, turning his head to look from wall to wall and see if anything looks strange.] It will be hard to believe if we don't find anything.
windykind: also definitely not stolen from plus (and the world we know disappears)

[personal profile] windykind 2012-06-09 12:14 am (UTC)(link)
[His expression turns serious.] Yeah... they have to be pulling something over on us. They just have to be.

[personal profile] pengeen 2012-06-10 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
They're probably planning to spring something on us when we're all settled down.
windykind: (uhm...)

[personal profile] windykind 2012-06-10 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
Right, that too. But... didn't they say there was going to be several weeks?

[personal profile] pengeen 2012-06-10 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
They did. [He crosses his arms] But that doesn't mean that they can't still surprise us with something terrible.
windykind: (hey hey no)

[personal profile] windykind 2012-06-10 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I guess. But what we find this week, if there is anything... well, that'll be the least of our troubles later, I guess.

[personal profile] pengeen 2012-06-10 04:01 am (UTC)(link)
...that is true. [He sighs and his eyebrows furrow in worry]

...I hope those who are still in the Tower are alright.
windykind: (the all-knowing JOHN)

[personal profile] windykind 2012-06-10 05:18 am (UTC)(link)
They're tough. They can protect themselves.

[personal profile] pengeen 2012-06-10 05:26 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sure that they can.

[A pause]

But I'm worried about the effects of the Tower while the administrators are not there to run it.
windykind: (teenage insecurity)

[personal profile] windykind 2012-06-10 02:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah... but unless we can find a way out, the best we can do is keep fighting on our side, and let them keep fighting on theirs.

[personal profile] pengeen 2012-06-10 08:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah. [Won't stop him worrying, though.]

Like the labyrinth, this will be over soon enough.
