The winner of this event will determine who will take over main control of the Tower. If Jason is victorious, conditions in the Tower will fall to an all-time low and make more than just a handful of people suffer. However, because of his methods and little regard for anyone's well-being, he'll likely modify and and manipulate people to win. Self-sabotage from within the pod is impossible.

The best possible outcome would be the assured victory of Dax's group, but even the victory of your own group would be better over Jason's. You can either sabotage Riki's to make sure Dax overcomes him, and risk Jason overtaking both groups, or do what you can for Riki's group so you can at least surpass Jason.
