Infirmary [open]
Characters: Shion and everyone who wants to help him
Setting: Infirmary
Format: Whatever you like best
Summary: After seeing Tara and how hurt she was, and seeing as there is no working infirmary Shion tries to do something to help
Warnings: Just general horror stuff
Shion was trying to keep busy, he was training with Reno and Xion, helping gathering food and generally trying to keep going. He wore the pin Reno had given him on his shirt collar; he really was just beginning to grasp all that it stood for and probably wouldn't for a long time. But he understood family and though Reno and Xion would never replace his mum, Nezumi, Safu, those he had lost... They could be another family, one here. People to care for, who cared for him in return.
So he was recovering, slowly, a step at a time and today would be another step. After helping Tara he had realised that without workers those who were injured would not get any care. The infirmary was as dark as everywhere else and that meant there would probably be monsters there at times...
Shion didn't know much about medicine, but he knew enough to clean and bandage wounds, even to deal with broken bones though he had never done that for real. Reno's spare EMR in hand Shion entered the infirmary. He should probably start with one room, if he could get one of the examination rooms organised it would be a start. He began moving things about, dust had began to gather and so all the sides needed washing, so he started with that.

He had his own supplies in his medkit, and a small, hand-held medical light, which shone in the dark. He could hear things being moved around, before he even entered. So, there was someone else here. "Ah, hello. And who is that?" His tone was calm, in spite of the danger of monsters. He wasn't worried.
Sorry for slowness!
not a problem ♥
Re: not a problem ♥
He gave another small smile and a shrug.

He nods. He's far more interested in gathering samples and test subjects than he is in healing anyone, but he can do both. The latter will make the former so much easier. So he smiles back.

"And as you say with conditions the way they are people are going to be injured... I also learned that though usually when we die here we come back uninjured... for some reason that didn't work... I only know of the one case but if it was to repeat then the need for medical care is even more urgent."
He closed his mouth, realising that he was babbling a little bit.
no subject
Fortunately, Hojo was more than a little used to babbling researchers. "Ah, I see. The power is off, and so, like everything else, the revival process has been affected. Unsurprising. Yet interesting..."
He seemed to think this over. The mystery of the Tower--now, that interested him, far more than anyone's inconsequential injuries. After a moment, he nodded. "I will serve as doctor here. You can assist me."

He didn't have any plan yet-- He had his hand open, palm up and a small ball of light hovering just above it, and Piccolo perched on his shoulder as he looked around. He got to the infirmary and carefully peered inside when he heard something movie.
"Hello? Is anyone there? You hurt?"
no subject
Another one perhaps, after all there were two Reno's and other doubles. Still Shion looked down, not quite meeting the boys eyes. He studied instead the weasel on his shoulder, such cute creature. "Yes. I'm not hurt, do you need help?"
no subject
"Oh-- no, I'm fine. I came here to check and see if anyone else did," He commented a bit sheepishly. "My name's Ventus-- and this is Piccolo." He introduced, gesturing to the weasel with a small shrug.
"What are you doing here?"
no subject
At the name though he paled even more. "Oh... erm..." He tried not to remember the labyrinth, he knew this was a different person. A different person who looked the same and had the same name. "He's really cute..." He reached out to pet the weasel, trying to act normal.
"I'm Shion..."
no subject
"He's my friend's pet, actually. Not sure where he went..."
A moment or so of silence however, and Ven couldn't help but start to pry. "Are you sure you're OK? You seem kind of nervous."

"Be careful boy, this place roams with monsters ever since the power is out."
Ganondorf's tone wasn't threatening, it was just an advise, a true one at that. Those monsters didn't know limits ever since the tower fell into such a pathetic state. Now why was this boy here-
"Why would you come here? You don't appear to be hurt."
no subject
However this had to be done, so here he was.
no subject
A Medical team... Not a bad idea, could be useful for those without regenerative abilities or weak endurance. He didn't personally care but in the new order such a place would probably be of utmost importance in the tower. But the boy was legitimately worried about the monsters... Heh. That's where he could probably make himself necessary and a part of this small movement.
He smiled at him and nodded.
"Most people in this tower just sit and wait for our hosts to return. It is enjoyable to see some are taking matters into their own hand."
no subject
Yes when they were here the tower had food and power but it was at the expense of the experiments and the awful things that happened.
Though of course there were those that had been taken... not many people were left and Shion worried about the fates of those who had been taken. But there was so much to worry about and making the infirmary workable was a problem that he could solve. So he concentrated on that.

Ganondorf looked around, considering his options. He couldn't stay at all time on this floor, nor could he direct all of his influence to protect this sole floor from the monsters. A Shadow could stay... And considering how worried the boy looked, it would work only just fine, probably.
"As for the monsters, since you've been doing an effort beyond that of the others in this tower, I'll make certain none can reach this floor." he slowly said "You won't have to worry about them harming those you treat."
no subject
He blinked at the offer, "You will? I thank you, that would be very kind of you!" It made Shion happy that people were willing to help.
