[ After the executions from last time Urotsuki is still caught in shock, even now things are going on once again and the new round starts. She's keeping to herself a little as if she's actually scared to seek out contact by now - sitting near a wall and her arms wrapped around her knees. It's not like there's much more left to do anymore in the room other than be left to her thoughts and idly stare at the other people.

Some vague sound in the back of her head reminds her though that she has to keep trying her best - that's what Tara had told her too, right? It's what she said before she..

Urotsuki dryly nibbles on her nutrition bar, even if it looks like she has great difficulty eating it despite her ease last time around with the gross food. ]

[Kidou didn't want to spend his time thinking, he had to do something to keep himself distracted otherwise he would be left to his own depressing thoughts. So, he decided to run laps around the room, not minding any looks he might be getting from others, and also paying mind to not bother anyone. That is, until he notices Urotsuki sitting on her own, looking very forlorn.

He stops and stares at her for just a moment before walking over.]

Mind if I join you?

[chainsawn]

[ It takes a moment or two before the fact he's talking to her registers in her brain, judging by the slow speed she looks up and blinks at him for a few moments with the same expression. ]

.. Ah.. Kidou-kun. [ her voice is a little less spirited, even though it always bordered on blank already. ] Hmm. It's okay. ... I don't mind.

[pengeen]

[He sits next to her on the floor, then.]

How are you today, Urotsuki?

[chainsawn]

I'm.. [ For a moment she hesitates, as if she isn't sure whether to tell the truth or not. She's supposed to be trying her best, so if she talks about what she feels like it might not be good, right? So she just nods before hanging her head a little, staring at the floor. ]

.. I'm okay. All of us are okay, right..?

[pengeen]

[He looks around at the others in the room for a moment before answering.] ...physically, we are. But I'm not sure how "okay" everyone is emotionally.

[chainsawn]

[ It's true. Her gaze turns to her shoes for a moment, since she knows it's true - she's one of those people who aren't really okay in that sense, after all. ]

I think Kidou-kun seems pretty okay..

[pengeen]

[He smiles again, a bit softer then before.] I'm not going to let anything get to me because I need to stay smiling for my friends. [The sound of Zelda's harp raises and Kidou looks over to the group for a moment.] Ah. [He stands up, then, and with a happier smile, holds his hand out to Urotsuki.]

Let's enjoy the time here we have. If we don't, then Jason is bound to win, and no one wants him to win.

[A pause] I want to see you smiling again, too.

[chainsawn]

[ Needing to smile for his friends, huh.. It's a little surprising to her, the very tohught of it. She's never had too much contact with people that lasted, but to think he does and he's trying to keep strong for their sake.. it's surprising but more than anything admirable. The surprise lingers on her face at what he says next even more though, staring at that hand. ]

Kidou-kun.. You're saying you want me [ as in her specifically ] to smile?

[pengeen]

[He's a little surprised at that, lowering his hand a bit.] Of course I do.

I don't like seeing you depressed like this, I want to see you happy and enjoying yourself, like the first time we met.

[chainsawn]

.. Thanks. [ The answer comes slowly, but along with it she actually does start to smile. Not per se since he wanted it, but just because it's so nice to have someone care for her. Especially now Tara is gone it's a good reminder. ]

I feel really glad to hear it. That's right, those words make me happy.

[pengeen]

[He smiles again, then, and offers his hand once more.]

Let's do our best for the remainder of this, okay?

[chainsawn]

[ This time she properly stretches out her own arm as well so she can grab his hand and get up with his help. ]

I'll try my very best. It's what I promised Tara too, so.. I can't not try my best.

[ For a moment she glances downwards a little again, but it's still with that smile. ] You're.. a kind person, Kidou-kun.

[pengeen]

[He helps her up then, and takes her other hand into his own, blushing a little bit.] Ah, thank you.

[And then he starts moving, slowly at first so Urotsuki can get the hang of it, to the rhythm of Zelda's harp.]

[chainsawn]

[ It takes a moment or two for her to realise what's going on, what they're doing. But slowly she starts to realise after it that they're dancing. It's something she's only seen people do rather than doing it herself, so it's a little new and strange.. but in a good way. She's a little awkward with the steps as if she's afraid of standing on his toes, but it's fun to do-- so she's glad, and it shows in her expression. ]

.. The music's nice. [ She doesn't dare to speak up until she's gotten the hang of it at least a little bit. ]

[pengeen]

[Kidou's about just as awkward as Urotsuki, though he has a bit more experience with partner dancing. Still, he's making sure to keep an eye on Urotsuki and not go too fast for her (or trip over his own feet).]

Yeah, it is. [And he lifts his arm, indicating that he wants her to twirl underneath it.]

[chainsawn]

[ She actually stares at the arm for a bit - she's trying to understand the cue.. but then the cogs in her head start to slip into place and she nods, doing exactly that twirling.

Except in the middle of the twirl she manages to trip over her own feeth instead, starting to fall to the floor. ]

[pengeen]

[The smile was still on his face as she twirls but when she starts to slip, his smile turns into a worried frown and he moves to catch her, and he sighs in relief as he successfully holds her in his arms.]

Are you okay?

[chainsawn]

Ah-.. [ There's a moment of surprise when she doesn't hit the ground, since she even already closed her eyes mid-fall. But once she opens them she notices that she was caught instead. There's surprise at first, but then it quickly turns into.. well, maybe being flustered, considering her face lights up just a little. ]

.. Yes. .. I'm.. fine. Thank you, Kidou-kun..

[pengeen]

[He helps her stand again and smiles, relieved.] I'm sorry, I went too fast for you, didn't I?

[chainsawn]

No, it's my fault. I'm just.. not really used to something like this, so I'm not really good at it. [ her own look is still slightly awkward. ]

.. Sorry.

[pengeen]

It's alright. My father would hold formal parties and others would often ask for dances, so I've been taught how to dance for those kind of occasions. [Dancing by himself though would only be terrible. He can only partner dance.]

[chainsawn]

.. Did they used to ask you for dances too, Kidou-kun?

It must have been nice to be that popular..

[pengeen]

Ah, I was only popular with the people there because of my father. He's a prestigious and rich man, they wanted to know what kind of son he had, since I would inherit his company after he couldn't work any longer.

[chainsawn]

You were going to inherit a big company back home? [ .. It makes her think for a moment though. Her own parents are rather rich too, after all, so.. maybe she can relate to him a little? Even if her own parents are always a touchy topic. ]

.. Hmm.. Hey, Kidou-kun? Did you get along well with your parents?
