Fellowship of Animus | First Council of Sages
Characters: THE FELLOWSHIP OF ANIMUS aka pretty much everyone
Setting: Floor 38, early afternoon - forward-dated to July 29
Format: Party style - pick your poison
Summary: After repeated delays, Zelda and Gandalf have finally called the populace of the Tower to discuss productive means of dealing with their situation.
Warnings: None yet, will edit should something come up
It's taken far too long to get to this point.
Come Sunday, the various couches and armchairs of the uppermost lounge have been arranged in vaguely semi-circle-like patterns, with chairs from other floors scattered amongst them to increase seating even more. The semi-circles face inwards towards a central point to facilitate discussion among a large group of people. Though this is by no means a party, small slices of Lembas bread are available on tables around the perimeter - though there is no shortage of food, the hungry tend to be less cooperative, all the same.
Outside, the sun shines brightly without a cloud to obstruct it, but the atmosphere inside is much less carefree. Considering the purpose of gathering here this day, it's to be expected. Should this council succeed, it may very well change life in the Tower as everyone knows it. If not, well... one should certainly hope individual efforts begin to bear more fruit than they have in the past.

"Information should definitely be a priority. Not just for us, but for any newcomers. Fact is, people show up here on a weekly basis. If we can put our heads together and get our facts straight, it could really help us out in the future. Especially since there's a lot left to uncover, not just about the world but the ones running the show.
Heck, it might be worth asking everyone who's been caught up in experiments to share their experiences. I've only been dragged into the labyrinth, so I'm not sure how it compares to the rest. By getting a more comprehensive list, it'll give us a clearer idea of what to expect."
Once he gets that of his chest, he'll lean back and allow others to respond. After all, it was kind of a mouthful.

"While I am not well versed in science or technology myself, I have spoken with quite a few who are during our time of gauging interest. A team of people researching why this place works the way it does, and making that information available to those newly imprisoned here would be beneficial indeed. And I would gladly share my experiences in this place if it would help everyone."

He pauses, mulling it over for a second. The trouble would be getting that information out to the residents as a whole. A network post is fairly easy to access but would get buried in time. A written guide would require work to assemble, and there'd probably be limited numbers. No matter how they approach it, it'll be tough.
"It might help to throw up some kind of survey or census over the network... Maybe couple that with asking around. After all, not everyone's gonna make it to this meeting."

Looking out across the room, she thinks on Riku's last statement there. "... Perhaps we could start here, even though the entire populace of the Tower is not in attendance. There are quite a few of here, anyway - enough to get something of a start."

She hasn't said much since she'd made her speech, but she looks up.
"I... back home, I would sometimes do investigations of other worlds. Gather information. I... can do that here. If it'd help." Her voice is quiet, but steadier than it was earlier.
