Fellowship of Animus | First Council of Sages

Characters: THE FELLOWSHIP OF ANIMUS aka pretty much everyone
Setting: Floor 38, early afternoon - forward-dated to July 29
Format: Party style - pick your poison
Summary: After repeated delays, Zelda and Gandalf have finally called the populace of the Tower to discuss productive means of dealing with their situation.
Warnings: None yet, will edit should something come up

It's taken far too long to get to this point.

Come Sunday, the various couches and armchairs of the uppermost lounge have been arranged in vaguely semi-circle-like patterns, with chairs from other floors scattered amongst them to increase seating even more. The semi-circles face inwards towards a central point to facilitate discussion among a large group of people. Though this is by no means a party, small slices of Lembas bread are available on tables around the perimeter - though there is no shortage of food, the hungry tend to be less cooperative, all the same.

Outside, the sun shines brightly without a cloud to obstruct it, but the atmosphere inside is much less carefree. Considering the purpose of gathering here this day, it's to be expected. Should this council succeed, it may very well change life in the Tower as everyone knows it. If not, well... one should certainly hope individual efforts begin to bear more fruit than they have in the past.

...He's not sure what to think of Xehanort now. Not after what his double told him, but still. He does have a point. As Xehanort speaks, Riku keeps his eyes locked on the old man, listening intently. By the time he finishes, Riku closes his eyes and nods.

"Information should definitely be a priority. Not just for us, but for any newcomers. Fact is, people show up here on a weekly basis. If we can put our heads together and get our facts straight, it could really help us out in the future. Especially since there's a lot left to uncover, not just about the world but the ones running the show.

Heck, it might be worth asking everyone who's been caught up in experiments to share their experiences. I've only been dragged into the labyrinth, so I'm not sure how it compares to the rest. By getting a more comprehensive list, it'll give us a clearer idea of what to expect."

Once he gets that of his chest, he'll lean back and allow others to respond. After all, it was kind of a mouthful.

"I think anything you can explain would help, but that's just me." He shrugs, placing a hand against his neck. "What we could do is make some kind of formal guide. Maybe have a few people jot down information and combine it so there's an easy reference."

He pauses, mulling it over for a second. The trouble would be getting that information out to the residents as a whole. A network post is fairly easy to access but would get buried in time. A written guide would require work to assemble, and there'd probably be limited numbers. No matter how they approach it, it'll be tough.

"It might help to throw up some kind of survey or census over the network... Maybe couple that with asking around. After all, not everyone's gonna make it to this meeting."

"Me and this other guy, Alf-something something, are making a monster list too," spoke Yusuke, acting casual. "Too many damn monsters and crap around this place, and hell, some of them can't even be killed. Figured that should also get some more attention too for newbies."

And thus Xion finds herself, much like Riku, in the uncomfortable position of agreeing with Xehanort. Going home itself is a touchy subject for her, given her fate (though if Sora would need her to wake up, she'd go back). Though she can at least agree with the desire to not be here.

She hasn't said much since she'd made her speech, but she looks up.

"I... back home, I would sometimes do investigations of other worlds. Gather information. I... can do that here. If it'd help." Her voice is quiet, but steadier than it was earlier.
