Fellowship of Animus | First Council of Sages
Characters: THE FELLOWSHIP OF ANIMUS aka pretty much everyone
Setting: Floor 38, early afternoon - forward-dated to July 29
Format: Party style - pick your poison
Summary: After repeated delays, Zelda and Gandalf have finally called the populace of the Tower to discuss productive means of dealing with their situation.
Warnings: None yet, will edit should something come up
It's taken far too long to get to this point.
Come Sunday, the various couches and armchairs of the uppermost lounge have been arranged in vaguely semi-circle-like patterns, with chairs from other floors scattered amongst them to increase seating even more. The semi-circles face inwards towards a central point to facilitate discussion among a large group of people. Though this is by no means a party, small slices of Lembas bread are available on tables around the perimeter - though there is no shortage of food, the hungry tend to be less cooperative, all the same.
Outside, the sun shines brightly without a cloud to obstruct it, but the atmosphere inside is much less carefree. Considering the purpose of gathering here this day, it's to be expected. Should this council succeed, it may very well change life in the Tower as everyone knows it. If not, well... one should certainly hope individual efforts begin to bear more fruit than they have in the past.

Re: Gathering information on the tower...
"And how do you want to start looking for this information? It's not like they have file cabinets full of folders. And it's not like they have lackeys we can get information out of - unless you want to try to get some info out of the weird workers we see running around. They don't seem like they know much - there's no one here who can read minds, is there? That's the only way I can see getting info from them."

One more thing - if there are people who are good with computers, we might ask them to see about getting around any security on the network. There might be a way in we don't know about."

"U-um..." That comes out as a squeak, and she clears her throat as she blushes faintly. Time to try again. "I-I'm pretty good with computers, and I'm able to, um, control electronics. S-so I could use my power to try to f-find different ways to break into the network..."
She frowns as she trails off, fidgeting at her spot against the wall as she glances down at the floor.

Then she stopped and trailed off. "Oh cod, I'm so sorry, it's so rude of me to ask so much of you without so much as an introduction. I'm Feferi."

Look back through the archives on the network. There's fascinating tidbits there amidst the inanities. Observe. Analyze. Experiment. Share experiences. The glimmer of truth hides beneath the murky opaque surface.

...I know of a few who have gathered some information on the tower's basics. They've begun the foundations for what you're speaking of, already. [Where there is mystery and intrigue posed, so too will there be those who seek answers... and whether or not the two are in neutral standing with one another, there is something they can agree on despite their differing worlds.] Panic caused by the notes that are left for the newcomers definitely could use some sort of document.
[What he doesn't say is obvious in his tone, and his eyes: Sorry for losing my temper; I had just lost someone important.
Stop being so agreeable, dammit. You're confusing the hell out of his morality code.]
