Hacking #03: Monster Hunting

Setting: Hallways of the tower.
Format: Brackets to start with, but I can match you!
Summary: Now that things have calmed down a bit in the tower, it's monster hunting time.
Warnings: Some violence, but that's about it.

[The Hallways]

[Now that things had calmed down again, April had turned herself to another one of the projects she had decided to do when she isn't trying to crack the towers system, and that project was trying to make a monster list. Plus, monster hunting was good stress relief and April had been stressed out a bit lately.

So throughout the hallways of the tower tonight, some of the monsters will be electrocuted by one red haired woman with glowing green eyes, and the more stronger ones will be electrocuted with higher voltages before being shot a few times by her rifle. And once they're dead, she will crouch by their corpses and start writing things down in a little notebook she's carrying with her.]

... This would probably be a lot easier if I made a device for something like this... [But despite her grumblings, she still keeps taking notes.]

[Ryuunosuke has just recently stopped being dead and doesn't seem to have learned any from the experience.]

[She tenses up in surprise, and frowns over at him.]

... N-no, I'm fine.

Are you sure? I could take notes while you kill them.

[technologic]

[She quickly shakes her head and pushes herself onto her feet.]

Ah, yeah, I'm sure. I need to do this to keep myself busy anyway.

But it's not like I'm full of stuff to do either.

*April, remember that masked guy? He's out and about, crossbow in hand. When he sees her flinging lightning, he hesitates for a short second, before walking up to her as she starts writing.*

You mean for the observations?

[technologic]

[She certainly remembers him, and she gives him a wary look as she gets onto her feet.]

... Y-yeah. Writing them all out gets a bit tedious.

*He watches her as she stands, but his posture doesn't really change in response to her wary look.*

Do you think it would be easier with a keyboard?

[technologic]

... Maybe. And my powers would mean I would be able to instantly store data when I see the monsters.

[She is not the only thing stalking the halls at night. He's gotten enough sleep for the week, he needs to be in his natural element for at least one night. Especially with all the chaos having died down.

He stops prowling when he spots a girl kneeling beside a monster. He'll just stay in the shadows and watch for now.]

[She keeps writing the notes, peering closer at the corpse as she does so and grumbles to herself a bit more.

When she's done, she'll get onto her feet and glance around warily, electricity flickering around her hand.]

[The vampire soon decides to speak up from the shadows.]

Did you kill those yourself?

[technologic]

[She glances towards the direction his voice came from.] Ah, yeah, I did...

[Well, Cross has noticed all the burnt up, electrocuted corpses and has gone investigating. Moving down the path of destruction of monsters, the boy will be taking pictures with his visor as he moves. Gotta figure out what exactly caused this. It could hurt someone!

But when he finally comes across the end of the trail, there's a woman writing stuff down. Approaching her, Cross crouches down beside here. What's this about making your presence known?]

Watcha doing exactly?

[technologic]

[She had heard him approaching anyway, so she glances over at him before going back to note taking.]

Making a list of monsters here.

Oh, that makes sense.

[Looking over at her drawing, he looks back to the dead creature. ]

So, what exactly killed it?

[technologic]

I did. I electrocuted it. [And she keeps taking the notes.]

That would require a lot of materials not currently available in the Tower.

[Hey look, it's that guy you might remember from that time you, Aleph and him talked.]

[technologic]

[April blinks over at him before getting onto her feet. And yep, she does remember him.]

Well, maybe I could ask for stuff from the suggestion box...

That might work. More of a gamble, admittedly.

[As another wave of monsters attack, he raises his hand, and blushish symbols and energy pass through him, summoning his Persona.]

PERSONA!

[Amon-Ra raises his staff and Azure Cessation is unleashed upon them. The fire spells burns the nearby ones into a crisp.]

Would you like me to assist you? It will be easier for you to take your notes if two do the fighting.

[technologic]

It's worth a shot anyway.

[And April blinks when the Persona burns some of the monsters, though she quickly shakes her head at his question.]

N-no, it's fine, you don't have to help me. [Well, this is kinda familiar.]

[ Newbies really shouldn't wander the hallways as they do, but Rin's never considered herself one to abide by the rules. If she wants to rough up a few monsters, then by god she's going to do it with or without anyone's permission.

So really when it comes down to kill stealing, she doesn't care what others thing. If April really wanted to look at that monster, she can check out the charred remains of this one that Rin took out herself, the smoke still rising from it's corpse. ]

Nope never later

[Well, she certainly wasn't expecting this. She'll just be looking at the charred corpse of this monster, before glancing over at the culprit.]

[ Letting her head roll to the side, she regarded her roommate in silence. After an awkward pause, she stood back to full attention. ]

Yes, it's me. [ She never really did get the chance to show off the magic before, did she? ] What are you doing out here?

[Nope. So there's still some brief surprise for a moment before it fades.]
