Characters: Terezi and Bluekat
Setting: In the dorms, just after Karkat returns.
Format: Action?
Summary: Terezi thinks Bluekat is being a huge wriggler about this whole "alternate version" business. TIME TO LAY DOWN THE LAW.
Warnings: None!
[Terezi would never, ever understand why she kept becoming friends with cudmudgeonly boys with egos made of glass. Karkat's little temper tantrum had been one of the most ridiculous things she'd seen.
But, to be fair, she could understand why he was frustrated.
That didn't mean he had to be such a baby about it.
So Terezi knocks on his door, tapping her cane against her shoe impatiently.]

SHE WANTS HIM TO STOP BEING A HUGE DOUCHEBAG TO BE HONEST. She can hear the hurt in his voice, though, and the spiteful half of her thinks, Good. You Deserve it. But the part of her that knows she was being unfair by comparing him to other people, and she bites back whatever horrible thing she was going to say.
She falls silent for a second or two.]
Did you really mean that? You don't like Karkat because of his blood color?
no subject
My moirail was a gutterblood. I told you that.

[Her voice is sharp, and then she pauses, eyeing him almost suspiciously.]
No one has thought badly of you because of Karkat. Except Eridan, maybe, but he is a pathetic, worthless coward. Vriska is the horrible one.
no subject
Whatever. I'm tired of being treated like a clone.
[Karkat just waves a hand at her and looks away.]
I'm done.
no subject
[She feels another surge of anger, because while she can't tell exactly what he's doing, it's clearly a dismissal.]
You're not a clone, okay? Jegus.
[She's tempted to add that he combines all of Karkat and Vriska's most horrible qualities, but she manages to refrain.]
I already said it was stupid and unfair. [No, you didn't.] Don't insult Karkat over my fuck up.
no subject
Look, I don't care, ok? I get it. I don't want to talk about it.
no subject
Get what? You're not Vriska and you're not my Karkat. Fine. Do you think that upsets me?
no subject
no subject
You upset me because you insulted Karkat. Not because you were angry that people were comparing you to him.

...but he doesn't strike back or complain, because he recognizes that he kind of deserves it. But that doesn't mean he'll take it back.]

Fine. Dropped!
no subject
Thank you.
shut up
You're welcome.
[She pauses for a moment, then decides to change the subject entirely.]
Have you seen the sixth floor?

You are such a wriggler!
[Buuut he's probably right.]
You haven't gone to any of the other floors?
