You mean like, geographically speaking?

Not necessarily. There's some people from other worlds...

Well, you could say I'm from the sea and be done with it, honestly. But I suppose if you wanted to be strict, the Caribbean narrows it down nicely, yes?

So you're from Earth's Caribbean? What year?

[What? Marty was a time traveler.]

1749. Or 1750. Definitely not 1748, nor 1751.

[Marty was looking sort of excited now. He never met a pirate before. Tetra didn't count in his head. She was just a kid.]

Hey, that must have been a great time to be alive, huh? All the exploring and the pirates.

[Jack quirks an eyebrow. He likes the excitement, really.]

The best part is the exploring. The pirates tend to get in the way of that. Always holding grudges over the smallest things, I swear.

Yeah, I can imagine... there's all kinda stories about Black Bart, Anne Bonney, Blackbeard... say, have you ever met any of them? What're they like?

Never heard of the first, would love to meet the second, and as for good ol' Teach?

[Jack's smile is a little to sharp.]

You know what he's like? Dead and ferried over by the Dutchman, one hopes, if Will bloody Turner is still doing his job as he should.

Uh... Dutchman... that sounds kinda familiar, but who's Will Turner?

Ever heard 'a Davy Jones, lad? Let's just say Will Turner is his replacement.
