(no subject)

Characters: "Elvenking" Legolas and YOU, tower!
Setting: Backdated to Oct. 11, throughout the tower (just pick anywhere)
Format: Prose to start but will switch
Summary: Legolas woke up dressed as his father, King Thranduil. Including the crown.
Warnings: Nothing but possible mischief

When the prince had awoken this morning, he was dressed in the slightly confining clothes of a figure he knew quite well, one he had known for a few thousand years, in fact. He attempted to remove them but that moment he shifted his attention to take his own clothes, the costume was on his once more, crown included. The type of crown he'd always refused to wear when at home, opting for a more traditional silver circlet.

Well, this was a battle he wouldn't win so he grabbed his swords and strapped them on to go with his costume and grabbed the ridiculous little bucket, looking at it with obvious distaste and went to scour the tower for candy. None of which he would eat because, wow, what the hell were those things? Nothing like that was in Middle Earth and he's not about to try one.

Ken nodded. "Yes, I am. And that's what my letter said, too." He hesitated for a moment before adding, "Is what was written there true? That the world was destroyed?"

Ken wasn't as easily frightened as he might have been by his surroundings, but nor was he wholly immune to them, which showed in the wariness in which he carried himself. It was the manner of someone who was used to having to be alert, even if he wasn't quite sure what he was being alert for at the moment.

Ken frowned a little. "Well, my world really was ending, but not yet. Even if I'm gone, though, there are still people there who can stop it." Or so he hoped.

"Although," he continued, a little glumly, "I guess even if everyone was wiped out, things would start back up again eventually. Just without us. Sort of like the way cockroaches would survive even if a bunch of bombs went off."

Ken blinked, a little taken aback by the extent of Legolas's sincerity. No one he knew was ever this hardcore serious. "Stars in a building? Uh... are you talking about holograms? But I guess they do have the resources to kidnap all these people."

"If the point is to not give up, I think I can manage that." At least here it seemed like most people knew that they were in danger. He hoped that this meant it would be easier to find a way out of this mess. "I hope you don't mind me asking, but how long have you been here?"

"Valinor?" And what the heck was Middle-Earth? Maybe it was best to take this thing slow.

"I don't suppose there are plans for everyone to go back to their own worlds in... oh, about a month or so?" Yeah, probably not. But Ken had come all this way -- he definitely didn't want to be MIA when SEES finally faced their last, greatest enemy.

Well, that had brought up more questions than answers. Ken sighed, slumping his narrow shoulders a little. "Well, I guess that was too much to hope for. So you've been here for six months, huh? Um... do you know everything about the tower? Like what's at the top? I've explored a couple of the lower floors."
