Summary: Zett's not affected by the cold going around. He catches up on his reading in the lounge, ignores the sanctity of the church, does what he can with his favorite pasttime of watching the stars, and goes hunting.

[Floor 38]
[Zett has a book to read (it's about character analysis in anime - Setsuna and Mirai are Japanese, Setsuna and Mirai watch this kind of thing, therefore it must be interesting) and is lounging on one of the beanbags. He also has a box or two of tissues next to him, ganked from the infirmary, and if someone so much as sniffles-]

Gesundheit. [He throws the box towards them. It may hit them in the chest, or, if they're unlucky, the face.]

[Floor 13]
[In the church, passerby may find Zett stretched out on one of the pews. He's singing to himself, though it's not the hymn you'd expect in this setting.

...actually, it seems to be a rather dirty song about a pixie and an ogre that fell in love and their difficulties with the, ahem, consummation.]

[Floor 12]
[Or, perhaps they find Zett watching the projection here. This time, he'll greet anyone who enters the floor.]

The stars sure are pretty, aren't they?

[Time for dinner! Zett's not willing to live off of nutrition bars, so he hunts for food himself.

If you notice a deer or two being felled by sudden bursts of lightning through the trees, there's sure to be a green-haired boy scampering up to them before anyone else gets his meal. He pulls out a knife and starts skinning the animal then and there. There's no reason to go down to the cafeteria to eat, right?]

Exactly! Though it might take a while to get through everybody having a go at punching him, but hey, he deserves it.

It's a big tower, everybody should understand they need some patience.

Yep. It could be like... each color collar gets a day to punch him, or something.

Sounds fair to me. Now all we need is to make it possible.

I'm sure we'll find a way to make it happen. After all, there's got to be some way to take down the admins.

Yeah. You've got to be confident or there won't be a way.

[technologic]

Right! And there's no way we can give up, since it's only a matter of time until we can get out of here.

Ex-actly. Giving up would just be stupid.

[technologic]

Yep, especially since we've been able to one-up the admins before. One day we'll beat them and then go back home to see our friends and stuff again.

Tell me how you kicked their ass.

[technologic]

Huh? Ah, well, I didn't really do much myself, since I... wasn't in the best state. I mainly stood guard when the hacking of the terminals was taking place and took over some of the hacking when people got tired.

Still, I bet that's a lot more than most people in this tower did.

Ehe, I wouldn't say that... But still, I was glad to be able to help the others.

There's a lot you wouldn't say.

[She blinks at him, frowning a bit.] ... What do you mean by that?

[scentofmakai]

Nothing. Don't worry about it.

[technologic]

[Froooown.] ... Really?

[scentofmakai]

[technologic]

[Still looking confused and a bit worried, since that had sounded like a bad thing. But she slowly nods.] Well, okay, I'll take your word for it, then.

Great. So, what have you been up to?

[technologic]

Um... Nothing much, really. Hunting and making blankets and stuff, along with looking after my rabbit and Bullfairy, since they get cold easily.

[scentofmakai]

You've got a pet Bullfairy? They're cute.

[technologic]

Yep! His name's Charlie and I adopted him a couple of months after I got here.

That's really, really adorable.
