Summary: Shion is using her flu present~ And willing to share a little curry.
Warning: AMAZING AND DELICIOUS SWEET CURRY THAT IS NOT GROSS AND SPICY~ And fluff. And kissing. And Wilhelm.



Anyone near the kitchen would probably smell a delicious blend of spices, that made up Shion's special sweet curry. Earlier in the day, she had been surprised to find the basket of ingredients in her room (as well as something disturbing from home), and she wasted little time getting to the kitchen to prepare her specialty.

They didn't give her a while lot, but she's definitely be willing to share a portion or two with anyone tired of nutrition bars.

In the Library...

Shion stepped off the stairs quietly and surveyed the room.

"Allen? Jin?"

She had something small concealed in her hand, and she looked a little worried. She really hoped at least one of them would be there.

*He knows that they're right, that Wilhelm most likely keeps an eye on everyone anyway. But that's not his only worry. He was a Testament and, to a certain extent, that made him an extension of Wilhelm's will. People who got close to him were at more risk of being hurt if he had to do something harsh...so wouldn't it be best to not get too close?*

All I can really think of is that it's to worry us. The Vessels aren't here and Mary isn't even close to awakening inside of KOS-MOS, so the key can't really do anything, but I can't think of any good reason they would give it to you.

[chaos nodded and smiled..even though that smile will look a bit sad.]

You're quite welcome. I am glad that I was able to step in and help.

[chaos paused for a moment when Shion showed him Mary's pendant. First his book and now her necklace. The Administrators were having fun today, weren't they?]

They gave it to you to cause more conflict and strife. Even if the Vessels and Mary are not here, he could grab the pendant and keep it until he got back to his universe. Having it there would speed his plans up quite a bit. Since he knows already, it is best that you two hide it somewhere and do your best to make sure he does not steal it.

[uzuki]

[She put it back in her pocket, for the time being.]

That seems to be what they're after. You know, I think getting sick was just some experiment of theirs too. That would explain why... Why I felt so strange.

They gave me a note to thank me for participating in their test.

[temptestament]

Maybe you could put it on one of the power nullification floors. I can't see or affect anything on them long-range unless I'm actually there, so he shouldn't be able to see where you've hidden it without looking for it the hard way.

[lightofhumanity]

[chaos nodded at the two of them.]

This does seem to be an experiment of theirs. Margulis told me the same.

[And quickly jumping to Allen.]

That is a good idea. You should just be careful that you hide it in a good place on one of those floors. Someplace that he shall have a tough time getting to.

[uzuki]

Alright, I'll take care of that later.

[For now... She placed her hand in Allen's. Relieved to be done with the ordeal for the time being, and happy to be out of Wilhelm's line of fire.]

*He tensed somewhat when Shion grabbed his hand, fingers twitching slightly as if he wanted to close them around hers but wasn't sure. He didn't pull away, but it was an indication that the doubts he'd banished before yesterday's party were back in full.*

It'd probably be best if you did it alone. Or better yet, got someone else to do it. There's still the chance that he could force the location out of your mind.

[lightofhumanity]

If you wanted, I could do it for you. However, I shall not force you to hand it over.

[chaos then gave the best smile he could at the moment to Allen.]

Allen..do not let him destroy what you have just started to build up. Even though he knows of this, it does not change the fact that things are no different than they were yesterday. Please, do not push yourself away.

[uzuki]

It's alright, chaos. They gave it to me, so I'll take responsibility for it.

[Plus she'd just feel better knowing she had taken care of it herself.]

And I agree.

[Her hold on Allen's hand didn't lessen with his twitching episode. And she looked to him to see his reaction to chaos's words.]

[temptestament]

*Slowly, his hand closed around hers. It wasn't a very sure grip, but it was there.*

I'm just worried that he might use me against you. Are you really sure you want to risk that?

[lightofhumanity]

[chaos nodded to Shion.]

Alright then. However, do not hesitate to find me if you do need my help in the future.

[chaos then smiled and, seeing that the two were working things out for themselves, left the room. He was probably not needed here anymore. They were safe, and he was sure that the two could clear up their doubts together.

..Besides, the two deserved a happy Christmas together, even if he thought the holiday was sad.]

[uzuki]

[She waved to chaos as he left, then let go of Allen's hand. Crossing her arms, she turned away.]

Do you really think that keeping your distance would matter? You think that I wouldn't want anything to do with you because there's the possibility of something bad happening?

Even if I didn't see you again, Wilhelm could still use you against me. You could walk out of here now, and never show your face again, and my feelings wouldn't change. [Well, they would be sadder... but still...]

Wilhelm may be uncaring, and unfeeling, but he what he said was right. "Time and space can't change the human heart." I believe that. You waited so long for me to realize what I had right in front of me the whole time. Why wouldn't I wait for you too?

[temptestament]

*He went slightly wide eyed at her tirade, but at the end he couldn't help but smile.*

Shion...

*He shook his head slightly, then reached out to put his hand on her arm.*

I'm glad you're the one I fell in love with.

[uzuki]

[Shion had always been impressed whenever Allen took charge of their relationship. But sometimes, she had to overstep him, and do things herself when the time was right. She turned to him once more, and without a word, leaned in for real kiss.]

[temptestament]

*He started slightly at first, not having been expecting the kiss. But he relaxed quickly, shoving the last of his worries out of his mind. After all, she knew exactly what she was getting into and didn't want to let it stop her. He leaned down slightly to wrap his arms around her as he returned the kiss.*

[uzuki]

[When she pulled back, she waited for a moment. And when no one barged in or mysteriously appeared, she smiled.]

Now do you believe me?

[temptestament]

*He had the most genuinely happy and content smile she would have seen on him in the tower and couldn't help pulling her into a tight hug.*

Yeah. I'm sorry I let him get to me like that.

[uzuki]

Just... Remember that he's not going to change my feelings.

[temptestament]

Right.

*Yeah, he's...not planning on letting go any time soon. He's the happiest he can ever remember being right now, despite where they are, and doesn't want this moment to end.*

[uzuki]

[SORRY ALLEN. She's happy too, but they can't stand around hugging forever. Probably.]

You know, you haven't tried your curry yet.

[temptestament]

Ah, right.

*It kind of dropped out of his mind when she kissed him. But he let go and looked over to the table he'd left the curry on with a bit of a wince.*

And it's probably ice cold by now, too...

[uzuki]

That's okay. We can warm it up easily enough in the kitchen.

[Since Wilhelm probably didn't actually go there.]

[temptestament]

*He walks over to scoop up the bowl in one hand, then back to stand next to her.*

Would you prefer to go the long way or the short way?

*Meaning walk or teleport.*

[uzuki]

It doesn't matter to me, whichever way you prefer. But there is something else I've been meaning to ask you.

I actually feel more like walking right now. But what is it?
