1st Call
Characters: Lucifel & Open for all
Setting: Room 01-12, then changing locations
Format: Action for now, otherwise I can adapt to prose as well
Summary: Lucifel's first day in the tower, he awakens to find out that there is something not quite right with him...
Warnings: None at the moment.
[Sleeping was something Lucifel has never done before in his life since he was created by God. So it's a great surprise for him to find himself lying in a bed and especially being somewhere that is neither Heaven nor Earth. Well, as surprised as he could be.
When he was finally able to move he feels the collar around his neck, trying with all his strength to get it off but fails. Not even a second later his eyes are staring at himself. Heaven, whoever made him wear this suit has not even the slightest sense for fashion... where are his clothes anyways? His cellphone seems to be gone as well.
The archangel then notices two letters, both were directed at him. The one that said that his home world got destroyed just got a look of disbelief from him. Sure, whatever makes the one who sent this happy. The other he found just as hard to believe. Then again, who would make such a joke?
At least one thing was true. The trunk had all of his belongings inside, his clothes, which he quickly changed back into, and even his cellphone. Said phone is shut off for a reason unknown to him and he couldn't make it work either. He would figure something out later and slides his phone into the right back-pocket of his jeans.
Lucifel lifts his left hand, he wouldn't stay here longer than necessary, then flicks his fingers to get himself home.
Nothing happens.]
You must be kidding me...
[He gives it one, two, three more tries and he is still here. Alright. Looks like he is forced to take a look around.
Honestly, he is not amused.]

However..if you don't know how to fight, and if you don't have a weapon there are plenty of people here who would be willing to teach you, and plenty more who could make a weapon for you.

[Tohko then sighed, thinking back to Enoch's weapon. Building the base might not be hard..but that beam would be. She still remembered how painful that was.]
..but I guess it would be hard to make the beam. Since it's one of your god's weapons, it probably would be impossible to perfectly recreated it. You would have to jut use normal blades or something.

Well, I am friends with Enoch. It would be a bit difficult for me to not see it after awhile in a place like this.
[She had also been cut in half with that weapon, but she wasn't going to mention it. It would drag up way too many questions, and it would probably drag her secret out into the open. Lucifel may have been Enoch's friend..but after his initial reaction, she wasn't sure whether or not bringing it up would be such a good idea.]
However..even if it's not the same, a substitute is better than nothing in this place. At least, that's what I think.
no subject
[Human friends that is. Also, the question would be if that story would even interest him at all.]
Perhaps. The original would be more effective but in this situation complaining is the last thing that should be done.
no subject
I imagine so..after dealing with immortality for awhile, having long-term mortal friends just hurt him. He probably tried to distance himself from them. It's hard to do that in a place like this though.
[Tohko sighed again. She didn't know exactly how long he had been immortal or how he had become immortal..but she could guess the effect it must have had on him over time. She was a book girl, after all. This did pop up in stories from time to time.]
Oh, the original weapon probably would be much more effective than any substitution, but in this situation, you have to take what you can get and make the most of it.
no subject
[It's not the whole story of Enoch but yes, no one had told Enoch until he had noticed it himself.]
It looks like it.
no subject
..Why didn't he know he was immortal? And why didn't you tell him?
no subject
[He's not going to take the blame for something everyone Upstairs knew off. Besides, the topic of Enoch having been granted immortality never came up, until it had become obvious.]
no subject
..That still doesn't anweser my question. Five of you knew. Probably more than that as well. Why didn't anyone tell him? Or did you just think immortality was a blessing and thought he'd be happy?
[..Because if you did, you needed to read more fiction.]
no subject
[The first time he indicated it the worst way possible, one that wouldn't make anyone think of it. The second time was at the 80th year of Enoch's journey.]
no subject
If you told him twice, then why did you say 'once he realized he was immortal', like he didn't know before? He doesn't seem to be the type of person who would just forget something important like that.
no subject
[He just shrugs.]
no subject
..He trusts you. Even if he hasn't mentioned you much, I can guess that he probably really trusted you. I don't think he would just brush you off like that. You may not be able to look into his head, but you can at least think back to what happened and guess at why he did things due to the events or the wording or things.
no subject
I guess it was a misunderstanding.
no subject
And I imagine it was a pretty horrible one for both you and him. But, now that you know what made such a misunderstanding you can try and avoid something similar in the future.
By the way..why did you give him immortality in the first place? It's not a blessing, by any stretch of the imagination, so why?
no subject
That wasn't me, He granted him immortality. Tell me, ow much has Enoch told you about himself?
no subject
At that, Tohko sighed again and scratched her head.]
I see..that's a little weird then. I would think that God would understand what immortality really is..or so I would think.
As for how much Enoch told me..I managed to deduce that he was immortal, and he told me that, while he didn't remember much of his life in Heaven, you told him that he was called up to be Heaven's scribe, and he can still remember the sound of a quill scratching on paper. However, he doesn't remember much else, save for the story Armaros shared with him later.
He hasn't told me much of what happened in his original world before he was pulled out, but he did tell me that Armaros fell because of his love for humanity. I don't know much else beyond that though.
When he was pulled out of his original world, he landed in one called Meridian, where he found Armaros and lived pretty happily there.
[Tohko then sighed again.]
However..Enoch was then pulled out of Meridian and separated from his friend. He believes that Meridian is now destroyed, thanks to some things that the Administrators showed him..but I'm still not convinced.
He does need to finish telling me about the rest of his life though. I'm getting hu-erm, antsy for it.
no subject
So he has only told you this much. Well, I can tell you that there was a reason why he was granted immortality.
[But he won't tell her why. If she is so antsy for it then it would be bad to spoil the story, wouldn't it?]
no subject
Oh, really? What was that reason then? Hopefully it was worth having to put up with that curse.
no subject
It was. But that's all I can tell you about that.
[Because he is an evil teaser.]
no subject
What?! How come?!
no subject
The best should always be saved for later, shouldn't it?
