Format: Whichever, though starting with brackets.
Summary: In which April tries to be a good girlfriend and tries to cheer Aleph up after what has happened over the past day or so.

[Despite April's general lack of social skills and tact, she did like to make people she cared about happy. And even April could tell that Aleph wasn't happy, so of course she felt that she needed to do something about this.

Which is why later that day, Aleph will end up being dragged to the media room by April, who is looking equal parts determined and nervous about this.] ... I also made some food too, and it's none of that cafeteria stuff.

[and she'll point at said food in a basket when they walk into the room.]

My head would probably explode if I got an ego that big, anyway.

We wouldn't want that, it might be hard to put you back together.

Yeah, it would be, since you wouldn't be able to just simply tape me back together again.

I'm not good at that kind of thing.

[She giggles quietly.] I'm sure you wouldn't be too bad at it. Or you could use glue.

I think there might be health concerns with that. Glue can be toxic.

Hmm... Is there non-toxic glue?

Then you could use that! See, no health concerns. [April that's not how it works]

I'll remember that.

So no need to worry if my head explodes from too much ego. Though, I don't have much of an ego in the first place.

It's all a hypothetical anyway.

Yep. But hey, at least we're prepared in case it ever does happen.

Hehe, yep! Though, you can't let your ego get too big either.

An exploding head would ruin my visor.

Yep, it would. And you wouldn't be able to wear it with the lack of a head too.

On the other hand, it might stop people from complaining about my outfit.

That's true, though I'll admit that I've grown to like the outfit by now. The visor isn't too bad, after a while.

After a while you can just get used to anything, in terms of armor.

[technologic]

True. Though I think you were one of the first people I met who wears armor, since back home people just wore things like my coat to protect themselves.

[alephbet]

Armor is pretty diverse in my world, but most dedicated fighters have something better than your coat.

[Technically.]

... Maybe when I get back home, I should try making armor. At least I won't spend so much time getting patched up then.

[And then people on April's world started wearing Aleph armor- I mean.]

That's a good idea. It's more expensive but a lot sturdier.

[technologic]

There's a lot of supplies laying around and I've got my powers, so once I get the hang of how to do it, it should be easy enough. Hopefully.

... And it would save having to sew up clothes.
