First Tail >> Ahri Intro ♥ OPEN
Characters: Ahri and you~!
Setting: Cafeteria, Floor 25 and Room 1-11
Format: Action!!
Summary: Ahri's found her way out of soloqueue and into Animus! She's taking it pretty well.
Warnings: Some flirting is to be expected, as well as Ahri generally being curious about each and every thing. +18 for one thread in particular.
(CAFETERIA)
[Ahri's not exactly what one would call a 'picky eater', so the fact that she's gotta down some bland oatmeal before eating anything else isn't at all a problem for her! In fact, she's almost gotten through all of it by this point and even has a plate of those silly Renekton shaped Chicken Nuggets that look and smell so divine~ She's rather content to watch others from the spot of her rather spacious table while she eats, though her curiously carefree smile(and possibly those ears and tails she neglects to hide) is sure to invite company.]
(FLOOR 25)
[Upon arriving Ahri had wasted no time in filling her belly, meeting a few interesting people and promptly venturing up the tower in search for things to do next, though the peaceful meadow on this particular floor just begged to be slept in. While the bed she woke up in was indeed comfortable, it didn't much suit her tastes, and the sterility of the decor was almost enough to drive her mad with boredom - finding such a peaceful place indoors was a bit of a surprise and definitely a treat, so with the familiar scent of grass filling her nostrils, she curled up amidst a pile of fluffy tails to relax]
(ROOM 1-11)
[Anyone currently milling about in this room would no doubt be surprised to see Ahri rousing from her slumber - not at all there a moment ago, yet now she's stretching luxuriously in bed, tails obscuring her form akin to a blanket as she rolls over in bed. She gives the new, most certainly unwelcome piece of jewelry around her neck a tug]
My, well while this is definitely kinky and all it's not quite my color, is it~?

Relax, I don't bite.
[She sits up and flashes a grin his way]
But so long as I'm awake, why don't you sit a while and keep me company? You look a little confused.
no subject
[He tries to smile in return, but it's kind of a failure- the side of his mouth quirks upwards before returning to it's now bashful expression. He seems surprised by her offer, though.]
You...are you sure? I can?
no subject
[She extends a hand as her tails unfurl, creating a white bed of pillows amidst the fields of grass]
What brings you here?
no subject
[He glances downward at the tails, scratching the back of his head as he thinks, before he gives her a single nod.]
Oh, well...I can't pass that up, heh.
[And he makes his way over to sit on that bed of pillows, nodding in approval at how soft they are. Oh, wait she's asking him a question.]
It's...it's a peaceful floor. Unlike some of the others. [A shudder.] This floor kind of makes me forget that this place is as terrifying as it is...
no subject
[She leans back onto her hands for support as she gazes into the distance]
It's like an unseen monster that one can suddenly perceive - should one grasp its true form, the effect is partly lost. Despair is nothing without a dash of hope to keep one's mind at ease. If this place were utterly horrifying during every waking moment of one's "sentence" undoubtedly its effect would be lost on the stronger willed of the bunch.
[She turns to face you with a smile - oddly tranquil for the situation the both of you are in, guy.]
Wouldn't you agree?
no subject
That's...oh dear. [He shudders, as if it's grown cold.] Oh dear, I mean...I never thought of it that way.
[A little whimper.] How horrible...
no subject
I'm surprised you haven't noticed until now! Actually, this Tower is impeccably well built, I'm impressed. Everything serves some sort of function, no matter how small. It makes me wonder... Just what sort of twisted, yet thoroughly brilliant mind could ever dream up such an absurd reality?
[Ahri runs a hand through her hair, pinning some of it back, tangling it in her fingers as she further gauges Sam's reaction]
Most consider their stay here a curse when in reality they could be learning so much more. There's a wealth of knowledge here should one search for it.
...
Hah, but that's just a bunch of nonsensical rambling!
[She giggles, ears swiveling and lowering a little in what may be considered embarrassment]
You must think I'm pretty weird for having such a positive view of the situation. I'm sorry if I troubled you..
no subject
[He nods, looking a bit more relieved, though the nervous tone in his voice doesn't quite go away.]
No, no, it's fine. I mean...it's good, being positive. They do say optimists live longer...
But what sort of knowledge might one find, if one looks? I mean, people have been here way longer than I have, and yet they seem as much in the dark as I am.
no subject
The people, of course.
As is the case with most, once a person is born into their world they rarely gain the opportunity to venture out into realms unknown. Here, while we may have been taken from our homes involuntarily, we have the ability to learn things our predecessors could've never dreamed of.
Of course, there's also the Tower itself, but as you've noticed, learning more about that has proven to be extraordinarily difficult - However, I'm sure that in time, all will be revealed.
[Ahri shrugs, still smiling]
So why don't you tell me more about yourself, Mister...?
no subject
And yeah...The Tower is quite the mystery, isn't it?
[Oh, she's asking him about himself. He gives a sort of shrug, glancing away awkwardly.]
Oh, um...Sam. [A slight huff.] What's to say? Uh...I mean, I'm no one special. Really, I'm not...
no subject
[There's a particular fascination in her eyes, far beyond simple curiosity. It'll be hard to get her off your case at this rate]
And stop acting so shy! You look as if you're about to shiver out of your skin. I'm harmless~
no subject
[A little nervous laugh.]
Oh, I'm really sorry...I'm just not that used to talking to people, you know? You seem really nice, I'm sorry if I'm just really bad to talk to, I understand if you feel that way.
no subject
[Not like she wasn't used to stammering men]
In fact, I'm rather enjoying our little chit-chat.
[Something Sam says confuses her though and she tilts her head]
The "Internet"?
no subject
[A bashful look at that, before he moves onto the question.]
Oh, well...the internet is this big network thing. People can connect to it through computers and connect with other people all over the world. There are also things called 'websites", which people make...and they can be anything from information centers to hubs for people with common interests to talk with one another.
I-I sorry, I'm not that good at explaining.
no subject
I see, so it's a method of sharing information in real time then? Fascinating what technology can accomplish - in a way it almost reminds me of the arcane.
no subject
[An agreeable nod.]
Yeah, it kind of is amazing when you think about it, though it's kind of a common thing where I come from. But what arcane are you talking about?
no subject
Magicks in general are quite commonplace in my world. As such, technological advances such as those you'd find in your own aren't quite the same, or existent to begin with.
no subject
Yeah, see, that seems to be the case with most people I meet from other worlds. They have all sorts of magic wonderful stuff, while my world just has the tech stuff.
What sort of magic? Like conjuring stuff, bunnies out of hats...what?
no subject
[It's her turn to shrug. The 'wonders' of Runeterra had long since exhausted themselves in her eyes]
There's no simple way I could explain the magic at work there, only that it's varied as well as powerful - and utterly drab at this point.
no subject
[And then he rethinks that, shaking his head.]
Oh, sorry, I think I've realized...magic to you is like the internet to me, right? Stuff that's just totally part of common life at this point.
no subject
She's obviously still curious regarding magicks hailing from worlds other than her own. Who knows what she could learn from discovering them - and if it increased her power in the process, well, that's all the better.]
Bingo!
There's not much there that piques my interest anymore, which makes my appearance here all the sweeter.
no subject
no subject
Oh, that's fine~
There's plenty more you've got to offer even if you're presently unaware of it...
[Why would such a staggeringly normal kid be thrust into Animus like this? There had to have been some reason, though she cannot piece together just what - still, that's enough to keep Sam at the forefront of her interests for now.
Ahri stands, brushing blades of grass from her clothing before turning to face Sam once more]
You've my thanks for the chat, cutie. It was fun, if short. I'm afraid I've got some other matters that require my attention, though I hope this won't be our only encounter?
no subject
[He scratches his head- yeah, he's not going to tell her about the creepy Persona he got in the previous place he was in. Maybe the next time...he stands up as well, nodding with a solid attempt at a smile.]
Oh! Oh, definitely. I mean...you're nice and all, so I definitely wouldn't argue not to see you again.
But, um...I don't think you told me your name, miss...?
Thanks for the thread. It was super fun ♥
[She offers him a wink before wandering off towards the stairs though curiously she seems to be heading further up into the tower rather than back down towards the Cafeteria.
Who knows what she's really up to?]
Same here! let's have more. ;)
