Setting: Dormitory hallways, cafeteria, floor 49 (mirror maze).
Format: Action.
Summary: Kidou goes missing. Guess who doesn't take it particularly well after her search for him turns up nothing.
Warnings: Nothing for the first prompt, for the second one gore, use of a chainsaw. Possible harm for characters but not very likely, see the ooc note!

( dormitories or cafeteria )

[ It doesn't matter what you're doing - standing around or sitting and eating in the cafeteria or just passing through either of the locations - but there's still a teenage girl that will try to stop you by tugging on your sleeve, more insistent if you don't slow down or stop. If you do, though, she'll hold up a (pretty poorly drawn) picture of a young boy. She doesn't say any other word, as if that already should be enough to prompt a reaction.. ]

( floor fourty-nine )

[ It's useless. At first she thought he might be staying away after what happened last month, but after a while it became unbearable and she had to seek him out. But it didn't seem like he was anywhere - not in his room, not on any of the floors, not seen by anyone. She's been looking for a day or two or more - it's difficult to even keep count of it by now in the middle of her mental panic. Because Kidou not being in the tower means that he isn't around anymore, that he left, that he isn't with her-- and that thought breaks her more than anything else ever could.

She doesn't even know what to do. Completely mindless she drags herself up the tower until she arrives at the mirror maze, standing still for a moment and staring at her own reflection in the mirror. She isn't sure why, she doesn't even think, but somehow it annoys her, that reflection. Her standin there, all alone-- normally it doesn't bother her, but right now..

Urotsuki gets out her chainsaw.

.. If a character walks onto the floor later they might find a broken mirror near the entrance of the floor. Trails of blood and monster parts are spread out onto the floor if you go in and look through the maze, maybe with another one or two slightly broken mirrors. The sound of a buzzing chainsaw becomes louder and louder the further you get in, and maybe eventually you'll reach Urotsuki - standing in the middle of the maze with monsters around her, lik they're attracted to her. She's covered in scrapes and cuts from the mirror's pieces and with whatever parts came off the monsters too. Almost emotionlessly (but in a different way from her usual blankness, this is much more cold) she cuts cleanly down the middle of a monster with her chainsaw, seemingly the last one. For now, though, they've already been coming for quite a while.

( ooc: as a note, it's not very likely that Urotsuki will harm people who tag into the second prompt unless they're being an absolute asshole, but if you want to be on the safe side then please tag the first one instead, thanks! )

[Jungo's always in the cafeteria, it seems, and he's always trying to make a decent meal out of the kid's meal ingredients that he's been given. Even after so many days, it's still not going well, and he's going to feel ill by the end of the month for just how many ruined creations he's had to eat.

But he will persevere. As for Urotsuki, all it takes is one tug for Jungo to stop what he's doing and pay attention to her. He looks at the picture very carefully, and gives his best guess as to what's being said...]

Are you looking for someone?

[Hey, he's not bright, but he can be intuitive sometimes!]

[ She gives a small nod. As if she's more quiet today than she usually is - and that's saying something, given how she normally already doesn't stand out to begin with. ]

.. You mean you don't know him? [ Somehow he sees like a smarter type to her, she figured Jungo might know a thing or two about the people coming into the cafeteria here. ]

[A smaller nod than usual...yep, she seems a bit off. He can't explain why if asked, but he can sense things like that. It's like talking to Jungo, except...well, Urotsuki is clearly not a cat.]

...Mm-mm, he doesn't look familiar. Sorry, Urotsuki. [He tries to offer a polite smile, but he kind of messes it up and looks out into the cafeteria to see if he's there. Nope. He's not here. So he looks back at her.] When did he go missing?

[chainsawn]

[ Even something about her expression is a little different when he says that. Like it drops a little, even though the obvious blankness is still somewhere in there, and she clings to the drawing as if it's her life guard in the middle of an ocean. ]

I don't know.. I haven't seen him in a while. I thought that maybe he didn't want to see me..

[fish_or_die]

That's not right. [His voice is still firm, even in the midst of a situation he knows nothing about. There's something about what Urotsuki says that makes absolutely no sense to him.] You're a good friend. If he's your friend, too, then he still wants to see you again.

[chainsawn]

.. He's.. my boyfriend..

[ Her gaze turns downwards to stare at her feet as she says it, her voice a little soft. ]

I.. did something strange, so.. I thought he maybe disliked me for it, even though I didn't want him to..

[fish_or_die]

[...There's a blank face on Jungo's face for a second. Love? What is love to a Jungo? He has no idea, but he smiles.]

I think that if he's your boyfriend, you'll see him again. He might just be lost. Even if you did something strange, friends make up when they're done fighting.

[chainsawn]

[ Love is one of the few things Urotsuki does know, really. ]

Friends do, but.. do boyfriends and girlfriends do too? I.. had some arguments with boyfriends before, and.. [ .. ] They left. I was left all alone after that..

Mm...I don't know Urotsuki very well, but she's always nice and wants to make friends with demons. That's why I think that this time, he's definitely going to see you again.

[chainsawn]

[ .. She's quiet for a moment. Honestly, she trusts Jungo's assessment, so he's probably right.. .. right? He's going to see her again, so.. ]

Is all I have to do.. just.. wait for him..?

[fish_or_die]

[There's no nodding or smile here. Jungo's a nice guy, but he's seen the absolute worst of the world. People fighting people, demons killing people, friends fighting friends...]

...Something might be keeping him from finding you. This place is really dangerous.

[chainsawn]

[ Her hands fret a little with the fabric of her skirt, practically nervously. She doesn't like hearing that, it just makes her feel worse, but.. ]

I'll.. get rid of it. Whatever's keeping me from him, I won't.. forgive it.. for sure.

[fish_or_die]

[He doesn't like telling her things that she doesn't want to hear, but...if it might be true, then someone might be in danger.]

... Do you have more? [He's talking about the picture again.] I'll help you.

[chainsawn]

[ She stares from Jungo down at the picture, shaking her head a little. ]

No, I.. made this one myself. I can try to draw another one if it'll find him.. I.. I'll draw as many as I have to..

I can take a picture of it with my phone. If that's alright.

[That's the easy way. He doesn't want to trouble her...]

I'll ask people, too.

[chainsawn]

... Thank you.

[ Every single extra person looking for Kidou is an extra person, after all. If he's still somewhere in the tower, then she absolutely has to find him. And if he isn't, then.. well.. ]

Please.. [ She holds up the drawing again. ] Take a picture..

[He takes out his cellphone and lines up a good shot...he's careful about it, and tries to fit in as much as he can. And then...click. Picture taken.

He quietly puts the phone back in his pocket...pauses...and takes it back out to show her.]

How's this look?

[ There's a stare at the screen, a little longer than anyone else would stare, but then she nods at him. ]

I think people should recognize him from that..

[Okay. Now he pockets it, and he crosses his arms. What should he do next?]

In here.. [ She just assumes that most people come here to eat at some point, so most people would pass by here, right? ] And a little in the dorm hallways too.. but no one's seen him yet.
