[ open ] oh love of mine, would you condescend to help me
Characters: Urotsuki and OPEN!
Setting: Dormitory hallways, cafeteria, floor 49 (mirror maze).
Format: Action.
Summary: Kidou goes missing. Guess who doesn't take it particularly well after her search for him turns up nothing.
Warnings: Nothing for the first prompt, for the second one gore, use of a chainsaw. Possible harm for characters but not very likely, see the ooc note!
( dormitories or cafeteria )
[ It doesn't matter what you're doing - standing around or sitting and eating in the cafeteria or just passing through either of the locations - but there's still a teenage girl that will try to stop you by tugging on your sleeve, more insistent if you don't slow down or stop. If you do, though, she'll hold up a (pretty poorly drawn) picture of a young boy. She doesn't say any other word, as if that already should be enough to prompt a reaction.. ]
( floor fourty-nine )
[ It's useless. At first she thought he might be staying away after what happened last month, but after a while it became unbearable and she had to seek him out. But it didn't seem like he was anywhere - not in his room, not on any of the floors, not seen by anyone. She's been looking for a day or two or more - it's difficult to even keep count of it by now in the middle of her mental panic. Because Kidou not being in the tower means that he isn't around anymore, that he left, that he isn't with her-- and that thought breaks her more than anything else ever could.
She doesn't even know what to do. Completely mindless she drags herself up the tower until she arrives at the mirror maze, standing still for a moment and staring at her own reflection in the mirror. She isn't sure why, she doesn't even think, but somehow it annoys her, that reflection. Her standin there, all alone-- normally it doesn't bother her, but right now..
Urotsuki gets out her chainsaw.
.. If a character walks onto the floor later they might find a broken mirror near the entrance of the floor. Trails of blood and monster parts are spread out onto the floor if you go in and look through the maze, maybe with another one or two slightly broken mirrors. The sound of a buzzing chainsaw becomes louder and louder the further you get in, and maybe eventually you'll reach Urotsuki - standing in the middle of the maze with monsters around her, lik they're attracted to her. She's covered in scrapes and cuts from the mirror's pieces and with whatever parts came off the monsters too. Almost emotionlessly (but in a different way from her usual blankness, this is much more cold) she cuts cleanly down the middle of a monster with her chainsaw, seemingly the last one. For now, though, they've already been coming for quite a while.
Do you still approach? ]
( ooc: as a note, it's not very likely that Urotsuki will harm people who tag into the second prompt unless they're being an absolute asshole, but if you want to be on the safe side then please tag the first one instead, thanks! )

But he will persevere. As for Urotsuki, all it takes is one tug for Jungo to stop what he's doing and pay attention to her. He looks at the picture very carefully, and gives his best guess as to what's being said...]
Are you looking for someone?
[Hey, he's not bright, but he can be intuitive sometimes!]
no subject
.. You mean you don't know him? [ Somehow he sees like a smarter type to her, she figured Jungo might know a thing or two about the people coming into the cafeteria here. ]

[ She's sure he does, she's talked with him about Kidou before! Not like Urotsuki gets it's since her picture is just horribly drawn, so her expression drops a little bit. ]

[Mirror Maze] WOW THIS GOT TLDR FAST
Where better for a quick check of the state of his clothing during his exploration of the tower than a floor full of mirrors? He doesn't even have to go far from the stairs. A quick step off and... he finds himself faced with a broken mirror and a whole lot of severed limbs. Oh.
Good thing he's been smart about bringing his shinai around with him lately. It's far from being deadly but at least he can smack something around with it and run if he needs to. Which he just might, judging by the noises coming from deeper in the maze. What is that noise, a chainsaw or something? And a squelch as it cuts through... well, he's going to hope a monster and not one of the Tower residents. Someone who just might need help.
He follows the trail of blood and broken glass, thankful that at least getting out of the maze will be easy. He pauses when he catches sight of the bloodied girl. Hey, he knows her... kind of.]
Are you alright?!
[How much of that blood is hers?]
TLDR TRAUMA MY FAVOURITE KIND
-- .. But then there's someone. Someone calling out to her. Her chainsaw (also bloodied) still in her hands, she turns her head to look in Ishimaru's direction. Her eyes seem completely lifeless and so does her expression by now, as if there isn't any sort of spirit in her anymore. Just the desire to kill, to try and make it feel better that way.
There isn't even much recognition in her eyes. ]
... I'm fine. [ The answer almost sounds mechanized. And yes, she's saying that despite all the blood all over her. ]

But for some reason, the broken mirror lying nearby catches his eye. Broken mirrors are something he feels sympathetic to these days.
So it is that a few minutes later, he turns a corner of the maze and sees monsters surrounding someone. Without thinking about it, he calls up his swords and approaches, ready to attack--
Wait. Is that a chainsaw he hears? ]
...Urotsuki?
no subject
It's only then that she turns to look. Her eyes are lifeless, but it's more in a sad way than anything else (even if it might seem scary to some) and it has replaced her blankness with something more somber and serious that way.
She blinks. Blood drips down from her cheek and her chainsaw, but she doesn't say a word, as if she's merely taking in his presence by staring. ]

Urotsuki? [She looks down, at the drawing.] Who's that?
no subject
[ Maybe not as many people knew him as she thought, huh? A lot of people don't recognize the picture, either way, so it's almost like she looks slightly dejected. Although that might just be her general mood today either way. ]

You think so..? [ Of course Urotsuki, as.. strange as she is, immediately gets distracted by it, thinking about the way she drew him instead now. She looks to the picture again, but then shakes her head lightly, showing it to her again. ]

Mirror maze. Sorry for the tl;dr for setup...
This is one such state. His numbed wanderings had taken him into the surreal mirror maze some time before Urotsuki. When he came to his senses again, he was lost. Disoriented by the reflections, he began to make his way along the wall slowly, exhausted from the emotional effort it took to see him through a day of forcing himself near the memorial of those who had slipped away, to preserved bodies on ruined worlds.
And when he hears noise, something strange in the echoes of the mirrors, and shattering glass, he moves. If there's someone else, it sounds like they need help.
What he finds is a young woman wielding the strange weapon he only knew from the woman he knew as Juliet (but who was actually called Grell), and in no danger from anyone perhaps save her own cold demeanor.*
Are...are you all right?
it's okay, i don't mind it at all! <3
But after staring at the bloody corpse for a good minute, she finally glances off to the person standing there. ]
... Me..? [ She doesn't even answer fully, but both the look in her eyes and her tone is a little lifeless, somehow. ]

She carefully steps around the glass, careful to avoid the glass as to not set off whatever monsters may be around. Following the noise of what sounds like a chainsword to her, she finally sees the hoard of monsters. What she sees first is the monsters, not Urotsuki, so without hesitation she fires off some shots. Three monsters drop dead, enough for Amberley to spot her hair and her clothing and identify her as a friend. That's enough to make her pause with her gun aimed at another monster, though she had lost her hood in the fight, revealing her secret as well.
Frak. ]
Are you hurt? [ After all, some of this blood very well may be hers. ]
no subject
