[ open ] oh love of mine, would you condescend to help me
Characters: Urotsuki and OPEN!
Setting: Dormitory hallways, cafeteria, floor 49 (mirror maze).
Format: Action.
Summary: Kidou goes missing. Guess who doesn't take it particularly well after her search for him turns up nothing.
Warnings: Nothing for the first prompt, for the second one gore, use of a chainsaw. Possible harm for characters but not very likely, see the ooc note!
( dormitories or cafeteria )
[ It doesn't matter what you're doing - standing around or sitting and eating in the cafeteria or just passing through either of the locations - but there's still a teenage girl that will try to stop you by tugging on your sleeve, more insistent if you don't slow down or stop. If you do, though, she'll hold up a (pretty poorly drawn) picture of a young boy. She doesn't say any other word, as if that already should be enough to prompt a reaction.. ]
( floor fourty-nine )
[ It's useless. At first she thought he might be staying away after what happened last month, but after a while it became unbearable and she had to seek him out. But it didn't seem like he was anywhere - not in his room, not on any of the floors, not seen by anyone. She's been looking for a day or two or more - it's difficult to even keep count of it by now in the middle of her mental panic. Because Kidou not being in the tower means that he isn't around anymore, that he left, that he isn't with her-- and that thought breaks her more than anything else ever could.
She doesn't even know what to do. Completely mindless she drags herself up the tower until she arrives at the mirror maze, standing still for a moment and staring at her own reflection in the mirror. She isn't sure why, she doesn't even think, but somehow it annoys her, that reflection. Her standin there, all alone-- normally it doesn't bother her, but right now..
Urotsuki gets out her chainsaw.
.. If a character walks onto the floor later they might find a broken mirror near the entrance of the floor. Trails of blood and monster parts are spread out onto the floor if you go in and look through the maze, maybe with another one or two slightly broken mirrors. The sound of a buzzing chainsaw becomes louder and louder the further you get in, and maybe eventually you'll reach Urotsuki - standing in the middle of the maze with monsters around her, lik they're attracted to her. She's covered in scrapes and cuts from the mirror's pieces and with whatever parts came off the monsters too. Almost emotionlessly (but in a different way from her usual blankness, this is much more cold) she cuts cleanly down the middle of a monster with her chainsaw, seemingly the last one. For now, though, they've already been coming for quite a while.
Do you still approach? ]
( ooc: as a note, it's not very likely that Urotsuki will harm people who tag into the second prompt unless they're being an absolute asshole, but if you want to be on the safe side then please tag the first one instead, thanks! )

... Hey.. [ she tugs on his sleeve a little more. ] Help me look for him. It's important, you know..
no subject
[There's a slight smile as he said that.]
Don't worry, I'll help you find him.
no subject
So you'll find him soon, right..? You'll find him.. for sure..?
no subject
[least he could do for a friend.]
no subject
[ Maybe the faint hope the declaration gives her is enough to make her act slightly more like her usual self again. Only slightly though. ]
Watch out for dangerous things. [ It's sort of sad that she thinks she can defend herself better than Naegi, even though he's more reasonable.. ]
no subject
[...though he has a feeling that that's what she's going to do anyways.]
no subject
Maybe I should look again..
no subject
[It's kind of a morbid question, but her answer will at least let him know of the person's whereabouts.]
no subject
I haven't. .. I'm not going to, either.
no subject
[...naturally, that would be the literal nail in the coffin if the one she's looking for happened to be mentioned in those headstones.]
...You should take a break, Urotsuki-san.
[Because you really need it right now.]
no subject
[ The fear is only there mostly since the fear that she might have lost him is such a reasonable one now in this situation, really. It's the reason why she shakes. ]
no subject
[...how many times had he pulled this card out again?]

no subject
[...there's a reaction from her, and to be honest, it's a bit surprising to see her raise her voice like that.]
no subject
[ There's still those tiny pauses, but her tone is more harsh, like the whirring of a chainsaw. ]
Memories aren't going to help me, they can't be there for me..! Memories are nothing but thoughts!
no subject
[if she forgot the feeling completely, wouldn't it just be useless in the end...?]
no subject
[ All the people she loved. All gone. Every single one leaving her-- it's painful, so painful, how it's piled up even all the way into here. ]
It hurts.. when you have it, but then lose it.. that's the worst kind of feeling. I'd rather end it myself, with my own hands..
no subject
[He knows that, but still, seeing her like this just pains him.]
no subject
He can't.. say he loves me anymore..
no subject
[Seeing her like this reminded him of... himself when he first started seeing students dropping like flies during the bear's sick game.
It's only natural for him to approach her gingerly, but not moving to touch her at all, but...]
Please, don't lose hope.
[empty words? He's not sure, but at this point, he'd do his all just to see her get to a semblance of normality.]
no subject
Um.. is it okay if I.. [ She doesn't finish the sentence, instead just looking at him slightly expectantly. ]
no subject
[He tilts his head a bit at that request.]
What is it?
no subject
[ Apparently she's not going to say what it is.. don't worry, it's nothing bad, it's just that she's too weird to properly ask. ]
no subject
[Still a bit UNSURE, but hey, she won't kill him at the very least, right?]
no subject
Instead she near-jumps at him, wrapping her arms around him and hugging him, completely pressing her face against his jacket as if she wants to bury it. She just needs some reassurance now that there's still someone right here.. so she doesn't even say anything. ]
