[03 | Second Officer Log] || [Open]

Characters: Data, his cat(s) and you!
Setting: Dormitories Floors, Holodeck and the Library.
Format: Starting with action, will follow.
Summary: Data before and during the event. Data gets to see the familiar bridge of the Enterprise, needs to protect his cats from the weather and is forced to continue his duties as security officers in spite of the thunderstorm.
Warnings: None really for now. Data may get struck by lightning and deactivate during the Summer/Thunderstorm prompt, but he'll live.

Floor One Hundred (Backdated to before the Event)
[ Every time the android stepped on the hundredth floor of this tower, the hologram displayed the bridge of the USS Enterprise-D. As far as Data was concerned, this room was obviously using a technology similar to that of the holodeck-- Albeit without a doubt less perfectioned than the technology of Starfleet, as the holograms could not be touched.

By now he had gotten used to the floor displaying that hologram, it had become normal. However one mystery remained: why did this image in particular appeared? He suspected some system picked an image in the resident's mind and displayed it... But why this was always the bridge of the Enterprise was a mystery to him. Since he "felt no emotion", he should not be more attached to this part of the ship than to any other, should he?

No matter, today he will be once again looking at the details of the bridge with an expression akin to curiosity, pondering on that question like he did many times before. ]

Dormitories Floors (Spring)
[ Data walked out of his dormitory room alongside his cat, Spot, looking around with suspicion and a bit of curiosity. Well, it was indeed raining both inside and outside the dorm rooms. What system controlled the weather was obviously malfunctioning. ]

Intriguing.

[ On top of Spot besides him, Data was also holding a kitten in his hand-- This other cat looked five months old at best. Data had regained him following the Halloween game and had since then kept him hidden out of harm-- But with the water pouring everywhere and the tower malfunctioning, it was now imperative to find him a safe hideout where he would be protected from the elements. ]

I believe we need to find him a protected place.

[ He looked down at spot before looking around and heading to the stairs. An umbrella now would have been most welcome. ]

Floor Nineteen (Summer)
[ The elements had very little effect on Data, and the heat had been no exception. With the kitten now protected, he could return to his duty as a security officer. However, the thunderstorm that was beginning was more of a problem, what with him being a mechanical lifeform.

No matter, he had to abide to his duty or he would most likely, so you could see Data checking the floor for any potential monsters or threat. Once it would be obvious there were no monsters lurking around the library at the moment, Data would stop by the security box at the exit door before inputting in the code signifying this area was safe. With this done, Data would would also look and see if anyone in the library may need assistance, especially with this weather. ]

[ He'd harass Data some more about how silly it is to learn from a cat, but this subject...he's interested enough to drop the jerk facade a bit for the moment. ]

Adds evidence...? What evidence is there to begin with?

You're right, though. It's one thing to reconstruct objects or copies of them. That's easy. But living creatures? Hmph, that's another story entirely.
