Finally, another party
Characters: ProtoLancer
puppy_lancer, Zero Lancer
oathshackledbird and anyone interested in attending a birthday party. Details here.
Setting: Meadow
Format: Anything goes
Summary: Lancer throws his brother a party. Everyone can come except for the Archer (meaning they can come crash the party anyways)! Feel free to tag into any of the threads set up or invent your own scenario.
Warnings: None yet!
[It had taken some preparing, but the party was finally set up in a satisfactory way. There was a table for food and drink dragged in from the cafeteria, a wooden bucket filled with water with fruit floating in it, a strange paper mache Jason head pinata stacked on a scarecrow body, and a board with a pig with a Ganon head scribbled on it along with several spiraling paper "tails" attached to thumbtacks. There are no party decorations, but Lancer figures the flowers and sunshine should be decoration enough.]
[Now it's just a matter of waiting for people to show up.]

That makes sense! I understand! So a newer guvernment used magic to make you younger so that you could help them!
no subject
Something like that. Only in my case, it wasn't the government so much as it was the World itself. That is where the magic came from originally and others then used it to call people like me to help them.
no subject
So..people used the magic in the world..to call you? But where did they call you from?
no subject
[Diarmuid pauses here. How does he explain the Throne of Heroes to her when honestly no one really knows exactly what it is and how it does what it does?]
As from where, that is harder to explain. I think for now I will just say that there is a place where people like me rest when we aren't needed. That is the place we are called from and where we return to once our work is done.
no subject
It does..but how can people use it? And Yotsuba understands a little..you live in a place with other strong knights and help out people when you're called!
no subject
Unfortunately, little one, I don't know. I was never blessed with the power of magic. My father had it and several people around me had it, but I never did. All I could do was watch and watching really doesn't explain how things work very well.
However, yes that is pretty much right for where I live.
[Or sleep, or exist or whatever they do on the Throne whenever they aren't needed.]
no subject
That's okay! Yotsuba doesn't have magic either, but we're still good people! Don't worry about it!
no subject
You are right, of course. One can't be good at everything, after all. I am a fighter. Helping people and keeping them safe is what I do. I will leave the magic to others.
no subject
Yup! Because you're a good person..but you're not just a fighter! You helped my leg, remember?
no subject
[He reaches out and gently tweaks her nose.]
But, you are right. I know some basic ways to heal. It just isn't my specialty.
no subject
But you did a lot! My leg felt better, and the song was great! What's a spe..specialty though?
no subject
For example, one of my specialties is that I can fight well with two weapons at once. Most people can only handle one.

[This sadly, was not the case. Yotsuba thought she was a great artist when, sadly, she was anything but. The people around her just told her she was in order to not make her cry or upset.]
no subject
Drawing is an excellent skill to have. Perhaps you will draw for me someday? Do you have something you enjoy drawing in particular?
no subject
Yotsuba can draw for you! I'll draw a picture of you!
[Good luck, Yotsuba.]
Back home, I drew Daddy and Fuka..and Jumbo! And birdies!
no subject
[He pauses to look around the room.]
I wonder if there is any paper around. I usually carry a piece or two, but I used them earlier...

[He smiles, bouncing her lightly in his arms.]
So, what would you like to do now? Do you want to try one of the games, perhaps? You will have to teach me, though. None of these games are like the ones I remember from my childhood.
no subject
Yotsuba would like to play! What are the games?!
no subject
[He carries her over to where the games are set up.]
There are a couple here, but I don't know what any of them are. There is fruit in these buckets. And there is a drawing over there with things to stick on it maybe? And then there is this.
[Diarmuid puts one of his hands on the top of the paper mache 'Jason' head.]
It looks a little familiar, doesn't it?
no subject
I don't know what they are either..and it doesn't look familiar.
[No matter how many times she looked at that head, she couldn't identify the face. After all, she had never seen the Administrators before.]
no subject
[Diarmuid thumps the pinata hard on the head and then moves over toward the other games.]
What do you think you do with this one?
[He motions toward the Pin-the-Tail-on-the-Piggie Game.]
I am guessing that you are suppose to put the tail on there, but that seems far too easy to be the real method of playing the game.

And then suddenly Cu isn't the only one causing trouble anymore... LOL!
Pff..xD; Well..she is a little girl, with all the faults that come with being a kid.
And shall we end this with them heading off to talk?
Sure! That's fine with me!
