Summary: So the week started well enough. And then these strange messages started appearing around the tower... (If you want to react to the ever-changing 'Lancer and Archer' rumor, feel free to pick any version.)

Floor 25 - Meadow - prior to the rumors appearing

[Ever since he visited the meadow to watch V/V's concert, Gilgamesh found himself returning to the floor whenever he found himself wanting to enjoy something simpler. It was quiet and free of irritants (the "monsters" of the tower), so he could remain there as long as he wished, whiling away his time.

Not that he has anything to do out there. Not really. But sometimes idle fingers fiddle with the longer blade of grass, or pluck flowers out of the grass to twist at the stems.]


All over the tower

[The message on the wall in the first dormitory level is the first that he sees. At the time, it had been nothing more than a small amusement -- something to smirk at with mild puzzlement, as he didn't know either of the people mentioned on the message. But he soon becomes aware of the other messages-- graffiti, as people began editing them-- on the different floors.

So what does he do? He goes on out there to look around and see just how many obvious messages there are. With so many floors, that's bound to take awhile.]


Dormitory Floor 1

[...It's almost ironic that he finds himself back on the first dormitory level, staring at the same patch of wall he had seen at the beginning of the week. The message keeps changing, and every time he walks off to find something else to do, he just seems to come back to find it changed again.

Maybe he should stick around to see who's changing the rumor. That sounds like a good idea.]

[The question brings a smirk to his face.]

It sounds simple enough. Many people here are miserable. Just find the ones who are looking sad and alone.

[He sounds so nonchalant, as if they're just talking about the weather.]

...Well, that other Archer should be alone enough. Now that he and Rin aren't together anymore.

[He looks a little too happy at the idea of murdering the other Servant.]

Ah, he does seem the type. That would be a fine battle! [He nods in approval, lifting a hand to his chin thoughtfully.] Most of the other Servants would likely fit this criteria.

And if they deny that they are miserable, it would not take much to make them miserable.

[puppy_lancer]

Most of them...but not my brother. He has me as company, after all.

[He shakes his head slowly.]

Easy for you to say, Archer. You're pretty good at pissing people off

[bowandblade]

Do not put yourself down, hound! I believe in your ability to make others miserable.

[He laughs, though there is still something more to Archer's eyes -- especially since Lancer happened to mention company.]

Rather amusing, that whole line of rumors implying 'Lancer and Archer' as a couple.

[He cocks his head, looking at Archer.]

What, do we really look that much as a couple? Whoever wrote this probably had something wrong with their eyes.

[bowandblade]

Do we look like a couple at all? [He scoffs.] A baseless rumor meant to confuse -- and it seemed to work, going by the other messages.

Whoever wrote that first rumor should be punished as well.

I hope they're lonely and miserable.

[bowandblade]

Lonely and miserable and soon to be dead.

[puppy_lancer]

Painfully, tortuously dead?

[He nods in agreement, smirking darkly at the thought.]

If it is another Servant, it will be amusing to see how many weapons they can take before they die.

[puppy_lancer]

[Lancer also grins as he nods. But after a few seconds, his face changes into a thoughtful expression.]

...How do you suggest we find them, though?

[bowandblade]

[Archer also adopts a thoughtful look, but not for long -- because he is soon enough kneeing Lancer in the ass again.]

We look for the writing, of course!

[puppy_lancer]

[Lancer yelps and barely avoids jumping into the air.]

On their bodies, right? We won't know until we take off their clothes...

[bowandblade]

Not an issue at all! I am sure that the two of us can hold down any Servant we come across. [If he could take down any Servant already, how much easier would it be with Lancer's assistance?

He grins.] Then the fun begins.

[puppy_lancer]

Then who do we start from? Whichever one looks the most miserable?

[Even if he and Archer working together couldn't find the culprit, maybe he can come back and try on his own during his shifts as a janitor. After all, that job gave him free access to the restrooms.]

[bowandblade]

Why not whichever one we find first? [The question is rather flippantly asked.]

Fine by me. You take the shirt, I take the pants?

[bowandblade]

[Archer is about to protest when he recalls that most Servants they would run into would likely be wearing armor. It would at least be interesting to go through those layers in the process.]

I find those terms favorable! But if I find one alone, I cannot guarantee you any of the fun.

[puppy_lancer]

Same goes for me. I ain't gonna sit around waiting for you.

[bowandblade]

[He laughs inwardly. It would be entertaining to see if Lancer actually managed to subdue another Servant alone.]

You, sit around? What a joke, hound!

[This time, he slaps Lancer's ass.]

You will not be sitting around anytime soon.

[puppy_lancer]

[This time, he yelps and jumps.]

ARCHER!!!! HANDS OFF!

[bowandblade]

[He just smiles at that yelp, offering Lancer a wink as he turns to head off to explore the rest of the dormitories.]
