It showed no sign of slowing down, and the growling, crying monster returned to circling around its prey slowly.]

The Apathetic Monster appears its nature as the projectiles approach, seeming unperturbed by the redirected attack. Then, just like Ganondorf before it, it dodges at the last moment, darting to the side in an impossibly fast movement. The dagger, too, it avoids, for that had followed the same trail as the fireball, and with the light of the flames flickering brightly off the blade it was easy enough to see and avoid.
After its dodge it doesn't stop moving. Seeing the Crying Monster attack, it waits until its fellow monster has only just cleared the line of fire before it makes a running leap over Ganon's head, all at the same impossible speed so as to appear to flicker from one position to the last. It takes up its position opposite the Crying Monster again as it returns to circling, but the move wasn't just for show: because the runic swords are not quite as fast as it is, it's a split second before they appear, quickly tracing the arc the monster traveled in.
Naturally, they hang in the air only briefly before they once again crash down on Ganon.]

The Crying Monster was obviously the weakest link in this battle. Besides he had been the one to disable his powers. If he could get rid of this one monster, maybe this would unlock his powers...
However this time Ganondorf didn't stand idle in the center, waiting for the monsters to attack, no. As the crying monster would be returning to circling the evil king, Ganondorf followed it into the shadows-- With the time spent in this battle his eyes and senses had well adapted to the darkness and the monsters, and from there one he would try and strike at the Crying Monster, slicing three times in its direction yet ready to use his sword backs to parry within a split second.
However as Ganondorf focused on eliminating the Crying Monster and preventing him from biting him, this left him open to the new attack from the Apathetic Monster. He tried to avoid it as he pursued the crying monster, but this time it was not just one blade that striked him, but three-- One in each shoulder and one in the chest. Needless to say, the pain's had to be awful and his scowl grew.
But this doesn't matter. If only he could remove the crying one, the odds would be in favor. Or so he thought. ]

Through its horrible sobs, it continued to circle him. Bleeding, spots of blood dropped to the ground, but it didn't stop the monster. It saw the opening when the blades stabbed through Ganondorf. It aimed to bite.
If it struck, Ganondorf would feel a terrible sadness. Hyrule was gone. It may even have been his fault. After all, what sort of king couldn't even defend his kingdom?[

Runes flash again around it, but this time the summoned swords remain close, whirling around the Apathetic Monster in a dancing flurry of blades. Protectively? Aggressively? Either or, perhaps.
As soon as there is enough space between the Crying Monster and Ganondorf, whether the bite succeeds or not it puts itself between the two.
You know, the thing about incorporeal swords? Is that, while they can't parry things properly like material blades can, they themselves can't be parried either.
It wields these swords with the same sickening grace that it has in dancing around attacks as it presses an offensive on Ganon.
The other monster is important. It can play a guardian. It can play a sentinel, in this case, as it watches keenly still for any attempt to run.]

Sadness was not an entirely new emotion for him. He had felt sorrow upon the destruction of Hyrule-- Twice. One it had been destroyed by the Gods as he finally had reached victory, the second time it had been destroyed by Ruana as he was about to reverse the destruction cast about by the Gods. Sadness had been a result of his hatred-- And a product as well.
After all, this was all Ganondorf had been at the beginning: hatred. Hatred was the very core of his being, the emotion upon which his powers fed upon, the emotions that had kept his resentment toward the gods and the royal family intact. Ganondorf slowed down following the strike, looking more angry than sad-- But that was simply anger against himself? Whatever it was, this would leave enough time for the apathetic monster to strike.
Yes, he accepted that he was going to die in this battle. Maybe he was wise enough to realize the situation was a no-win situation. Maybe the sadness inflicted to him by that bite affected him more than he was willing to show. But much like Hyrule, if he was to die, then everyone else would share in his suffering. There were no reasons after all as to why he should suffer, yet the others should be allowed to live.
And here, everyone else meant these two monsters. Ganondorf made whatsoever no move to avoid the offensive of the apathetic monster. No, it let the monster attack him, strike him even. Surely such a blow would be fatal and mean his end, surely after these incorporeal sword striked him Ganondorf would die shortly.
But as the apathetic monster striked, and hence was probably close enough, within a split second Ganondorf drove his twin sword to the core of this monster, with the same rage and ferocity he had earlier with the crying monster.
Yes, he would allow himself to be killed, but only kill his enemies, to take them in the suffering and misery as well. ]
crud, this completely slipped my mind
It was fatally injured, but it was not dead yet. Bleeding out, and not particularly fast, the monster would attack Ganondorf again with its remaining strength, baring large fans as it tried to bite again.]

Deliberately, it surges forward, impaling itself further on the twin blades-- and trapping the king with them as it bites down hard on an arm, allowing its own emotional poison to flood through the king. Despair and Apathy, as a pair... accept your fate, for there is little else to do. The swords it has summoned still whirl around it, surely inflicting scores of blade wounds made even more severe for the way that they don't meet resistance as they slide easily through armour and flesh.
Its breath is ragged and wet, bubbles of blood trailing from its mouth, but through the king's arm it snarls, and the air around it erupts as a whirling storm of blades materializes to join the swords already summoned.
It will die: that is for certain. But that doesn't matter; it will revive soon enough regardless.]
