[The monster began gasping for breath, but it didn't stop it's claws lashing out, still trying to rip and tear and kill. It's growls had stopped though as it's air was cut off]

[Were he in his right state of mind, Vicente would have simply frozen it to death with magic. Now, however, he simply dug his fingers into the thing's neck, vampiric strength letting him get a nice, hard grip, and simply punched the thing repeatedly across the face with all his remaining strength, which was beginning to dwindle thanks to the blood loss.]

[The blows caused the monster to growl again, and snap at the fists, trying to bite them, claws scratching at Vicente. The claws in his neck though meant it couldn't heal itself and it growled louder as it began to slow from loss of blood.]
