Characters: Anyone who's willing to work for SCIENCE.
Setting: The Workshop (Floor 15) for the IC questions to the scientists and the mingle thread. Then each group will be positioned on a different floor so as to not alert the administrators with a large group of people gathering at a single place for a long time.
Format: Prose or action, whichever you prefer.

Summary: This log marks the start of the research on the collar fluid! As was mentioned in the sign-ups post, words was passed around about the need of more people to help and study the collar fluid. Characters signing-up have all been divided into seven teams, which can be found here. ICly, Doc Brown made the team based on what he thinks is the most efficient. You can still sign-up here.

There will be a thread in case your character needs to ask a question or anything to the starter scientists (Doc, Waver, Sertoria or Sephiroth) and in parallel a mingle thread for all the characters during the 'recruitment', even if they end up assigned to different teams. And then obviously, there are the individual threads for each teams so the new teammates can get and know each other if they don't already.

For their first day the teams will be on different floors, but following this nothing prevents two teams from working closeby or on different floors. For reference, there are three set of scientific equipment, each containing a microscope, a small centrifuge, beakers, test tubes, many testing apparatuses, etc. They'll be shared between the seven teams depending on what they need for their researches.

Warnings: Nothing! There will be no NPC tags here, researches shouldn't be dangerous and this log is mostly for the characters to get and know each other, so this should be a relatively harmless log. Well, unless you're in the Violet or Orange team of course. In which case, good luck.

[ Doc looked surprised as Lancer steps up but nods slowly. ]

I'm hoping to sort the teams to make each of them as efficient and autonomous as possible, but if you have requests this can be arranged!

Ah, well, I wanted to see if I could be on the same team as my brother, but if that makes his team a little too well protected, I'd be happy to go with some other team.

[ Doc takes a paper and a pen quickly. ]

So far we have a lot more voluntaries for fighting positions than we do for scientific one, so I think it should be no problem.

[ He goes through some papers and quickly look at them-- His workplace is already a mess, unsurprisingly. ]

I think he is on the Clear Fluid Team, I can put you on it if you want.

Yeah, sure, that would be great.

[ He nods and takes a pen, filling a sheet-- He puts aside a few paper which lancer can see, namely the definitive Violet and Orange teams. ]

What position will you fill?

One of the physical positions. Like, a bodyguard or something.

Bodyguard it will be then!

( With that said, he fills the sheet and it's settled. ]

[It is later, after the meeting with her assigned team, that Merciless shows up. She makes the request that is burning in her mind.]

[ Doc was working on a microscope at the moment she showed and turned with a frown. Last minute changes were to be expected but not very practical at this point. He looked through a sheet quickly-- Well he had already received such a request earlier. ]

Great Scott, that is one popular fellow! What is your name and what team were you assigned at...?

[ Sorry, he can't remember the name of that many people at once. ]

Dismissing the twinge of emotion, she gives her answer.]

[ He winces and shake his head upon checking the list. ]

I am afraid this is not going to be possible so late! If I were to do it, the Indigo team would be lacking in members whereas the Clear team would be having too many of them!

That is truly disappointing. But the task is most important.

[She really does sound rather disappointed--she had been looking forward to fighting as a comrade on the same team as Diarmuid.]

[ He genuinely looks sorry. If they get more people to join soon, maybe he'll be able to do it though. ]
