Summary: An unexpected series of explosions has trapped residents in the dorm rooms with no power and no way to get out. Try to communicate with the outside, deal with being stuck in a small room with other people... Deal with the really strange things that seem to be happening, too.
Warnings: typical Animus horror event warnings

[There are several more explosions, and the sound of things falling and crumbling outside. The dorm rooms themselves don't collapse or cave in, but the furniture and trunks and nightstands may be rattled and knocked about. Eventually, the lights flicker and go out entirely, leaving everyone in the dark. There are small red emergency lights lining the floors, but they don't seem to have come on all the way, and flicker on and off eerily.

After maybe twenty minutes everything falls silent. However, if you try the door, you'll find you can't get out...]

*Enoch looked at the door and got to his feet to walk around the bed to listen at the door.*

...Nothing.

[She gets up from the bed and does the same thing as Enoch.]

...So it's reasonable to conclude that if there's anything living on this floor, they're all inside the rooms?

I think so. At least, for now. We don't know if every door is blocked like ours.

Still, if someone were outside, you'd think they would try to pry at the door by now.

True. ...We don't know what the outside of the door looks like at all. I wonder how this room remained intact.

[marriedthebloke]

...Our rooms are pretty special compared to the rest of the Tower. After all, monsters never enter while we sleep. I would not be surprised if these rooms were sturdier than other structures as well.

They are... I would say it's strangely considerate of them, but Riki himself seems strangely considerate.

Well, he certainly provides for us better than Jason.

[She hasn't seen much of Dax, so she can't make any comparisons between him and Riki.]

The hundred and first level was Dax's. When he...was gone, Riki decided to give it to us. He thought we'd appreciate it.

Oh? Is that how it happened? Then it seemed that Riki was on good enough terms with Dax and the rest of us to give us that floor?

[She falls silent for a moment.]

...I wonder if that floor was damaged by those explosions?

I...I hope not. There's one real tree there, a sapling. It may be the only living plant on this world.
