Event: Quarantine

Characters: any characters trapped in rooms during the event
Setting: dormitory level rooms
Format: any
Summary: An unexpected series of explosions has trapped residents in the dorm rooms with no power and no way to get out. Try to communicate with the outside, deal with being stuck in a small room with other people... Deal with the really strange things that seem to be happening, too.
Warnings: typical Animus horror event warnings

[There are several more explosions, and the sound of things falling and crumbling outside. The dorm rooms themselves don't collapse or cave in, but the furniture and trunks and nightstands may be rattled and knocked about. Eventually, the lights flicker and go out entirely, leaving everyone in the dark. There are small red emergency lights lining the floors, but they don't seem to have come on all the way, and flicker on and off eerily.

After maybe twenty minutes everything falls silent. However, if you try the door, you'll find you can't get out...]

[He's not a fan of needles as much as anyone else is. He meets the supplies with a dubious arched eyebrow and studying the colors with a growing suspicion.] Cause a few side effects.

[It's rare he says little but he can't help but think of the two times the tower has made it theirs.

If you don't take this, you'll pass out.]
Hey.

[He sets the syringe down and turns to the others.] Who boycotted their collar check up? Anyone?

I spoke to Ken shortly before he took his. Apparently they also strip away your abilities.

[She says this because she's seen what the other Dave can do, thinks this one might do the same.]

It's easier for us to tell because our Personas are muted whenever we lose our powers-- I would assume for others, they would not realize until it was far too late.

So that's one side effect. Great. [Of course. As if it would be anything else.] If we don't stab ourselves we pass out. If we do, we're powerless and have to get blunt objects.

[He has a sword, a real one. It means a lot.]

More or less.

[She sighs, rubbing her temples.]

We should have known there would be no real winning in a situation like this.

Course not, when has it ever been about winning - before you go, Dave did you only just figure that out. No, I knew it before we even showed up in endure until you snap like a dry twig in early summer heat. You know humidity doesn't really help plants stay wet, if there's no rain to quench the parched land it all goes brown and brittle anyway. You'd think it would prevent that but it actually doesn't.

[He realizes he has circled around to the same thing he'd just said and stops.] Anyway before I repeat myself again, should we set up an order to who stabs themselves first? The drug will run out of their system first and they'll be back on ball in case trouble happens besides being princesses in high towers with no way out.

One of you should probably go first.

[Mainly because she is in No Mood to try and stabilize herself enough for a needle, no sir she is not.]

I'll go after that.

[After a moment's hesitation, Dave picks up the needle and positions it against his arm. On the count of three, he injects himself with a hiss and watches the liquid leave the syringe and go into his creepy body that's actually not what he sees in the mirror all the time.

...Best not to think about it. He removes the needle and sets it aside to slide down the wall and rest his head on his knees.]
