Summary: An unexpected series of explosions has trapped residents in the dorm rooms with no power and no way to get out. Try to communicate with the outside, deal with being stuck in a small room with other people... Deal with the really strange things that seem to be happening, too.
Warnings: typical Animus horror event warnings

[There are several more explosions, and the sound of things falling and crumbling outside. The dorm rooms themselves don't collapse or cave in, but the furniture and trunks and nightstands may be rattled and knocked about. Eventually, the lights flicker and go out entirely, leaving everyone in the dark. There are small red emergency lights lining the floors, but they don't seem to have come on all the way, and flicker on and off eerily.

After maybe twenty minutes everything falls silent. However, if you try the door, you'll find you can't get out...]

[Jade, for her part, was less distracted by the unicorn, and did her civic duty of pinching France in the arm to see if he was indeed dreaming or not.]

Rise 'n' shine, I think it's legit.

[And aside from that, she held up her arms in an x-shape.] Hell no man you know that shit's gonna have side-effects. Probably gonna make us start hearing voices or turn us into hippies.

[Sealand is equally surprised by this turn of events, and goes right over to Taiki, quite uninterested in the water.]

Can I pet you?!

[Oh... He made them scared again, if there is anyway for a kirin beast to look ashamed and sad Taiki manages it, but he concentrates on purifying the water, despite Jade's words] Yes... [His voice is small in answer to Sealand's words, but Taiki likes pets as much as he likes hugs, and Sealand doesn't seem scary at all.]

[France yelps and bolts up when he's punched. He rubs his arm and casts a sour glance at Jade, who's more frightfully rude than her appearance would suggest. He wonders if perhaps she learned it from England.]

Unicorns and children. [He cocks an eyebrow in England's direction.] Mon ami, I sometimes wonder about your choice of company.

[It's never too early to antagonize his favorite pigdog.]
